Blizzard Welcoming Ideas and Suggestions
A member of the Official Forums shared a few ideas on the upcoming Patch 1.0.8 changes after reading the Developer Journal. Despite not being able to comment on them, Vaneras let the community know that all constructive ideas and suggestions are very welcome.
I am unfortunately not able to comment on on any of these suggestions in particular, but I would like you guys to know that we really appreciate that you take the time to think these up and post them :-)
I feel it important to mention that although we always like to see good suggestions from the community, we cannot make any promises that any of them will make it into the game, be it through the next patch, or a future patch, or even in the expansion. That being said though, good suggestions always serve as great feedback for the developers, and even if they might not be feasible, they can still serve as inspiration for other ideas or alternative suggestions.
In short, please keep posting your ideas and suggestions. Know that we read them and value them, even if they may not make it into the game. :-)
Epic Moment of The Day
Two rare elites and a champion pack sounds like a pretty hectic fight. I think it would stand out as my highlight battle for the day, but I can't recall the last time I fought three elites at once to be honest.
My epic moment...
I was in act 3, returned to town and gave a coffee break...
when I returned, I saw a gold beam on the screen But I was disconnected...
It was not a public game, nobody joined my game... I guess 3 demons entered the bastion, guards killed them and they dropped legendary... I still wonder what was it (since I could not see the item)
since then, I keep killing those 3 demons, but they never dropped anything but whites/blues so far
I also had one of those three invading Demon Trooper's from The Breached Keep quest drop a legendary item. It's a Manticore that my Scoundrel currently has equipped. I was a little shocked to see the orange beam, since I was simply working on conversation achievements. (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)
Warning About Scammers
Blue-tagging this thread in hopes that more people will read this; please be aware that Blizzard staff will NOT direct you to any websites other than our official domains for concerns, questions or information about your account.
I was shocked they were still doing it last time some one posted this but now I'm thinking they must just be stupid.
Unfortunately people still fall for it, which is why the scammers keep trying. :-( (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)

Whether you play as a brave Barbarian, a cunning Demon Hunter, a poised Monk, an enigmatic Witch Doctor, or an electrifying Wizard, you share one thing in common: a love for taking the fight to the very worst that the Burning Hells have to offer.
For this week's community question, we want to ask you: What's your favorite hero class in Diablo III?
Leave a comment below to let us know, or respond on Facebook or Twitter!
Ideas and suggestions? Take a look at Path of Exile. I'm sure you'll find something there.
It's funny how Blizzard still actually pretends to give a crap what players think.
Meanwhile, every weekly content patch on Path of Exile has the players entirely in mind, so much so that players can create new uniques that completely change the game to enable many more viable builds that players want.
This "fun for everyone, even your grandmother (for a couple weeks)" adopted business model is absolutely crap and has destroyed the Diablo franchise.

They don't, and everyone knows it. If you ever give a suggestion that everyone wants, that would take a lot of work, their response is "We've actually been talking about this a lot in the office......[and that's....about it]"
The sad attention to this game from blizzard is just enough for people to believe they still even read the forums
If PoE is so much better (I like it, I play it) why are you still reading a fansite for Diablo 3?
Blizzard already got their money, if they didn't care they wouldn't be fixing the things they are in fact fixing and changing. They could just focus on their other two franchises.

It's not just killing Diablo, it's killing damn near every mainstream franchise out there. The idea of catering to core fanbases for a franchise is dead. It's easier to milk money out of every facebook level "gamer" for a shitty $60 shovelware that they'll abandon after a week, than to make a game that the existing fanbase will enjoy and continue to put money into expansions for.
I can't say there's a lot of ideas in PoE that should be lifted wholesale and dumped into D3... they're fundamentally different takes on the genre. Skill gems are nice, but they also greatly detract from the feeling of playing an actual class. The skill 'tree' looks awesome, but I don't actually enjoy interacting with it... it feels too large and too brittle. The trading system is very much its own thing, but I don't know that I'd ever want to see it in more than one game at a time. I would definitely like to see 'map items', though, and I really wish Blizzard would find a way to make socketing work.
Also, anyone feigning suprise or digust at encounting 'fans' on a 'fansite' is clearly trolling. Ignore it and move on. Preferrably politely.
It seriously kills me every time i see a post like this get instantly flamed. why do people have to resort to acting
like children if they are unsatisfied with a game? if path of exile is so much better.... play that instead of being giant assholes on the d3 fansite forums. it's simple as that. i get it's your opinion, but there's a line you shouldn't go over and i believe full heartedly that flaming a game over and over just for the sake of being a jerk because you have some kind of grudge is that line. you people honestly need to find a better hobby.
on another topic. i believe with every fiber of my being that blizz is doing such a great job bringing new ideas to the table. i believe that they are doing such a great job and i wish i could thank them personally for making this game more then i'd hoped when i bought it on release. i have no real complaints whatsoever. and the things that i wanted implemented are being worked on as we speak. so again. i have zero complaints. thank you blizzard for working so hard for us gamers and fanboys even though the majority of us chastize you every time you open your mouth about new updates. that, to me, proves you care. because if the company were owned by me.... i would have given up on these ungrateful buttholes a long time ago.

What point would you like it to have?
