No Monster Power - Still Viable
For those players who still might need some improvements before increasing their Monster Power level, it is important to remember that MP0 is easier than the game was before and monsters in Act III will still drop the same quality of loot.
I would say that Act III with no Monster Power is a still perfectly viable place to farm. Compared to patch 1.0.4, the monsters are a little easier and items can now roll their affixes based on the level of the monsters that drop them (rather than the item’s level), which means that item quality should improve on the whole. Those changes should help your efficiency, and you may find yourself ready to take on additional difficulty (if you want) in no time.
Monster Power Turning Off
If you are playing with Monster Power turned on, be careful because there is currently a bug that sometimes turns it back off after logging out or leaving a game.

Fixed a bug with the Reflects Damage monster affix that caused it to generate errors and deal no damage when triggered by a pet
Fixed a crash that could occur when Arcane Enchanted monsters spawned their arcane beams in locations outside of the game world
Fixed a crash that could occur when "uber" Skeleton King (in the Realm of Discord) or "uber" Rakanoth (in the Realm of Chaos) teleported outside of the game world
Fixed a crash that could occur when "uber" Siege Breaker (in the Realm of Turmoil) used his Roar attack while holding a player in mid-air
Random is Random 3 nice rolled legendary , in fist H???? I agree there was a loot problem, but this isn't the way,. Random is random.

Gold-Sellers Just got a pm from [removed] stating that I need to go to this website to verify my account info or my account may be banned for using an 'unknown plug-in board'
As Narull mentioned, the best possible thing for you to do if a gold-seller tries to contact you in game is to report them using the in-game reporting feature. You can likewise send an email to our Hacks team at hacks@blizzard.com to alert us of the site, but please avoid linking to those sites or players on the forums.
5 NV Stacks Necessary finding keys for infernal machines.. i read u need 5nv somwhere.. even if u have 300mf u still need the 5nv?
Even if you have 300 MF and are a certified badass who's killed Diablo and his kin hundreds of times over...you will still need the five stacks of Nephalem Valor. It's a requirement in order for the keys and Blacksmithing plans to drop.
keys have nothing to do with MF
Oh, and yes -- MF does not affect the drop rate of the keys or the demonic organ pieces. This man speaks the truth.
Monster Power levels do affect the drop rates, however. At MP0, the drop rate is about 5%. At MP1, it increases to 10%, and every MP level after will add another 10% (all the way up to 100% at MP10). (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)
Hellfire Ring Farming Video
A member on the EU forums has claimed first Hellfire Ring and even though that's a bit hard to confirm he does have a nice video of doing the farm for the keys and defeating the needed bosses.
MP0 is more productive than 1.0.4 no matter how you slice it, so yeah MP is definitely not mandatory. Getting to MP1 is very worthwhile though since it opens up all the acts for farming. Even in Act 3, there are ilvl62 monsters in MP0 that will get leveled up to ilvl63 in MP1, thus improving their drops.
Has anybody worked out the ideal farming routes yet for Act 1/2 post-patch, comparable to the Alkaizer route?
I'm doing Act 3 on MP1 right now. It's a cakewalk, but I did find 2 rings yesterday (one with dex) that upgraded by WD's DPS from 71k to 85k. So that was sweet. MP2 act 1 was easy at 71k, so I'll probably switch to MP2 now for all acts.
MP1 just doesn't get keys reliably from the wardens. 2 is at least a decent chance.
