If anyone has not logged in yet, here is the rundown of what I've seen so far:
-about 10% more iLVL61+ drops
-Repair costs 2,000-9,000gold per death
-DH damage dropping around 50% effectively taking away the cannon part of glass cannon and now we are just glass.
-Overall attack speed/APS from 3.10 to 1.40 ish for builds/gear sets with IAS
-Negative gain doing Jailer/Butcher runs because of repair costs.
~sigh~ guess I will finally level my monk to 60 making my 5th max level
Getting really tiered about this. Warning us of something that is going to happen, but sneaking in a bunch of other little things.
Wouldn't be no where near as bad if it was for the repair costs.
The IAS nerf can suck my ...banana... IAS has always been a huge part of the game, attacking fast is freakin awsome and fun! 50% IAS nerf, thats.. r-e-t-a-r-d-e-d. What the hell are they doing? Hitting like a fuckin' sloth aint fun, not even with huge crits, not to mention the arcane power reg, spirit reg, hatered reg you're gonna lose. Thats damage taken into account aswell which i bet blizzard didnt think about.
We'll see if i'm quitting tomorrow because cba fixing a total new set of gear on my wiz because blizzard didnt properly test things etc despite all their so called polishing and testing.
100% agree man. Why take away something that actually makes this game kind fun?? O wait that's right, they want us to spend more $$ in the RMAH .. terrible.
So I ran all of Act 1 today - again - and got a belt that as an upgrade, rest was junk. I noticed the better variety of stuff. With the ilevel displaying on my toon now, I see how sad my gear actually is. I think I have 2 pieces at around 61. The rest are 60 and lower. So lots of room for upgrades.
Spent 2 million gold on crafting a helm using my materials. After all that gold, nothing good enough to justify dropping my current helm.
Bored, I went over to Act 2. Yeah, it's a helluva lot easier. The lacuni no longer 1 shot me. It's pretty easy to get away now that I take only like 20% life from a hit.
Then I get some elite groups...oy vey.
Firechains plague teleport vortex - fallen. FML But I got them. Took forever and I hit the enrage timer but they died.
Invuln minions mortar (who knows what else, I died so quickly but felt like horde at least) - those lacunai slasher dudes. I avoided them like the plague after that
Sirocco Level 1 - firechains fast waller illusionist - FML. I died like 20 times to these guys. I had no kiting room (right at the entrance).
Ragequit.
If I got a better mix of elites Act 2 is doable, I guess. But it's certainly not worth the repair bills after today's little jaunt. Another week of farming Act 1 since I can, maybe, get some upgrades now?
This patch has killed any remaining interest I have in this game. So many years and such a short shelf life. To think people complain that Wow gets boring...
