Damn it, im SURE next week ALOT of undecided people will say 'oh, wiz is amazing, its gonna b my 1st class'...pfff...
I hope the wiz video is garbage as I was going to play Wiz and WD as my first 2 group -> solo
Very bad idea.
You should base your team on diversified stats. If you both want INT gear, then you will end up starving each other from gear.
If my wife goes monk -> I'll go WD or Wiz.
If my wife goes Wiz -> I'll go Monk
There's no concept of "starving each other" if drops are for one player's eyes only. If you share you will be better, but if you don't you will definitely not "starve".
haha i take it you never had teamwork excerises drilled into you from the military or corporate training?

I meant that I was intending to group with Wiz and solo with WD. I'm playing HC from the beginning to experience the story while fearing death! I figured WD was a healthy solo choice.
And yes, our group will be diversified in stats as each is a different class and since nobody likes the DH, we'll have 2 people going for "int" stuff.

I don't think I need to have teamwork drilled into me to know when my coop partner would like an item that dropped for me. But that's twice the normal amount of drops when we play together. So I don't think the chances of being "starved" are that high. Actually they're close to nonexistent.
i had alot fun playing WD in open beta and amazed by its unique skill divercity, i mean one time you blowing darts and then throwing jar full of spiders and other time you spawning toads from your pokets and sucking sould of enemies, its just so diferent then other classes , i will definetly go for WD right after my DH , what can i do i love that double hand bow thingy , dream of any Hunter fun:)

Not sharing items in multiplay would be the equivalent to playing solo, so no, you won't be starved. Not unless we are going to be item starved when playing on our own, in which case its just bad design.
But you're right in a sense. There's no real point to play in a group if you're not going to help each other out. Luckily I'll only be playing with friends, so I know they'll give me items that could help me, just as I'd do for them. That's the whole point of the game, in my opinion.
I'm not watching the IGN video. Going to wait for when WD is unlocked on the promo website.
You know it's the same video, right?
Yes. However, I choose to view it when intended. If it's not available from the official source, then I'll wait until then. Only about another day to go, anyway.
Man, I much preferred the older HUD art direction. And boy do I hate the new skill selection UI. It's so fucking HUGE and I hate the new system, it's a pain in the ass to figure out what new skill just got what new rune. It's horrible to browse through your skills with as well. Just blegh. It's so big and yet you can't, at a glace, see all your skills.
Im having a touch decision picking between WD and wizard. One day it will be Wizard, next day it will be witch doctor. I was able to play both in beta, witch doctor feels more dynamic... but hitting 3 mobs with arcane orbs and watching them explode... is just so fun...
Wizard:
+ flashy spells, noticable, bright, instant
+ high burst damage, big crits
+ usually play the mage, sorcerer class. used to this play style
+ male model animations cool, gear decent
+ you vs the boss, no clusters of summoned units
+ electrocute is my favorite spell to spam
- not much variablility... big nukes, aoe spams, diamond skin, and frost nova...
- male wizard is an asshole (voice acting)
- TONS of people going to play wizard
- dont like the look of disintegrate and ray of frost
- not enough fire spells, too much arcane
- arcane looks sorta "WoW'ish"
Witch Doctor:
+ Not as many people will play
+ WAY more versatility (DOTS, pets, nukes)
+ Awesome voice acting, cool looking gear, and character animations
+ very DARK diablo feel to spells and pets
+ team player, great for boss fights
- character could look weird, wanga dolls not as cool as orb
- spells can be overly comical
- having a bunch of pets can lead to mobs being pulled, not used to summoner feel
- some spells I dont like the look of and would never use (hex, and silly looking spells)
I dont really care which is BETTER end game. I just want to pick the character that wont make me later on regret not picking the other (although that will probably happen no matter what). I know i can pick more that one character, but I want my main and alt to be caster and melee, not 2 casters.
WHICH CHARACTER WOULD SUIT ME? WHICH WOULD YOU CHOOSE?
(props blizz on making all classes so appealing and unique)

haha! Sounds like a husband that knows how to pick his battles. Let the wife decide!! (Could also just roll Barb and not share gear at all?)

Higher definition on promo. I always watch them twice
