We at DiabloFans would like to wish Diablo a happy anniversary. Yesterday was the ten-year anniversary of Diablo II, as well as the nine-year anniversary of Lord of Destruction and the two-year anniversary for the Diablo III announcement. Over the years, the Diablo series has taken many turns, as seen in our New Years "Decade of Diablo" article. In an attempt to commemorate the event, DiabloFans and several other FanSites took it upon themselves to liven up the community with a "We <3 Diablo" collage. In addition, Blizzard has also setup a 10-year tribute page.
Diablo is a big thing all around the world and has been so for many years. The first game of the series was what made a name for Blizzard by revolutionizing the RPG industry at the time. For me personally, it was a way to bond with my family. Ironically, my entire family (both immediate and not) all got into the fun. At get togethers, it'd be a thing we could all relate to, which sound odd, but it was pretty awesome. Me being a young child at the time, thought there was nothing better in the world... I was first introduced to it by my dad about 15 years ago, and to this day, I can't think him enough for it. And hey, without Diablo, there'd be no DiabloFans, :).
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
OMG! Has it been that long already? Wow. I recall working at a .com back then and playing it at work in the final days as we all knew the damn thing was going to fold along with all the other .bombs. DII actually helped calmed my nerves during that time, I recall the employee's we're bringing 12 packs to the staff meetings. FLMAO!
I hope you don't mind all the lesser mortals calling you Big D, in hell, we like to keep it formal as well as infernal folks (yes, that's a joke... I make it every time)
ahhhh dear melancholy memories!

"A lot of fellows nowadays have a B.A., M.D., or Ph.D. Unfortunately, they don't have a J.O.B."
so if the anniversary for everything is on the 29th june .. does that narrow down the release date for diablo III to be june 29th next year ... if not then it will be the following year..lol

The release date is like a leprecon, focusing on it makes it disappear.
I was 33, mentally 15, Peter Pan syndrome. As Mephisto pointed out here once, I am like Deckard Cain on Diablo Fans.
Gotcha beat. I was 38 when Diablo 1 hit the shelves. Hard to believe I've been playing Diablo games that long. I just hope I get to play D3 before Alzheimers sets in..

But yeah, we did get a little screwed here I think. I mean, 10 years, and all we get is one piece of artwork?! 10 years dammit!
10 years and we got a recap of what Diablo II was, and a bit of artwork :(.
Haha, was introduced to it by my dad as well, fun times ^^.

Same here, lol.
It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.

10 years ago I turned 12, you're not that old, pal!
