Except for perhaps the link bar at the top. The one we have now is rough and textured... rough and ready like prison sex... Oh yeah
Advertisements aren't that bad IMO if they're for games or computer components or some other nerdy type stuff that people who like Diablo also would like
Lol ! I was about to propose my help for a future design! Looks like I'm too late Am I?
Nope, I believe mockery said in the OP that he would like input from everyone about this in this thread. You can also always give suggestions in the Site Suggestions & Questions forum.
Honestly, If I could choose, I would -never- go to that new style. Looks like so many other sites, boring, some stuff too big and positioning that gives me a headache.
Please tell me the redesign is not changing the forum into a place with oversized texts and horrible layout as well, like so many forums have done in an "overhaul" of their site and it -never- looks better.
Looks nice.. but I the old one isn't bad either. Guess I'll have to see the final design.. and also after a week my eyes probably get used to the new look

Mockery said the graphics aren't done yet so I'm sure we'll be getting some sexy custom nav buttons.
So about the design. First let me say I love the positioning of the login box. Very nice. Not so sure I like the removal of the quick links. I personally don't use them very much but it's nice to have them there. They help organize things.
I'm looking forward to the new themed graphics of course but I have a suggestion. Considering this community is filled with talented artists, I suggest holding a graphics contest to let the members get a chance to design the background images. NOT the layout itself but just the graphics that will replace the defaults. And who knows maybe you'll end up with a bunch of cool themes.
The fonts are way too big. The banner will need an overhaul, which can also be a fan contest. Ads don't bother me. They're a necessary evil. And that one's kind of funny.

Too big? I think that looks brilliant. Although we are perhaps running different resolutions.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
Well, he lives in Pennsylvania, and so do I, and I don't *think* today is over yet here Besides, PST (which it seems mockery likes to go by) is only a three-hour difference. I guess if you lived in like Bulgaria or something, though, it might be an issue for you. I think I saw someone from India registering yesterday.
So, I think the last hour before the day would be over for PST in EST time would be 3:00 AM EST. So we still have a window of ten and a half hours if he's going by PST time.
If you live in GMT +2 than it is 10 hrs ahead of California which would be 12 midnight. Just choose the time at origin and keep adding 1 hr if you are moving to the left. If you are moving to the right then you subtract 1 hr.
I unfortunately will be at work during both times but I was wondering how the live chat works. I will have my Iphone on me and I hope that whatever program it uses is supported on my phone. Does anybody know?

Last year I think we just used an official IRC channel to do it, which I used mIRC to access, which is free, but I don't know if it works with iPhone's or if this is what we are doing this year.
Just so you know, we WILL be holding live chats once again this year for ALL of the Diablo-related panels at BlizzCon. It was a huge success last year and everybody had fun getting the live up-to-the-minute updates, so we had to do it again. Make sure you're here on Diablofans at the appropriate times so you can join in the chatroom discussion with us!
Yeah, I went back on the post to see if I missed something, but he only said to come on Diablofans at the appropriate time, so I was almost worried

If you can't amaze people with your intelligence, confuse them with your bullshit.
edit: although, you could rework the top nav bar to mesh a little better with the rest of the page, especially when on the Forums, BlizzTracker, and Blogs pages.

>__> Gee, thanks.
Yes, pretty much.
Anyways can't wait for blizzcon.

That would depend on where you live I'd say.
