As I hope you are all aware, in January this year we launched our very own Wiki here as Diablofans. Undaunted by the competition from Diablo Wikia, and determined to provide our users here at Diablofans the best info on Diablo found anywhere, we've since been working to populate our wiki with more and more articles. And a few days ago, we finally got 1,000 articles up and running.
Below you will find some samples of what we have in our wiki so far. Currently, there's is very little information available on Diablo 3, and as a result, most information added so far has been about Diablo 1 and 2.
I'd also like to take this moment to thank a few of our regular users here at Diablofans for their help over at the wiki since launch. Not all who contribute there are staff or sysops which is important to remember.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

Given the current rate of growth of the DF Wiki, I dont see why it wont surpass the Diablo Wikia in article count by the time of the Diablo 3 release date
The characters a locations of lore, mostly extracted from books, are being covered in there. But yeah, specific pages for the books with synopses or some such would be a good addition. Maybe you could work on that, Mordonan
Yes I'd really like some book stuff in there. I wanted to read up on the characters a little before I started the books but I couldn't find anything on any wiki about them, which was surprising since they seem to be pretty important in the history of Sanctuary.
Yeah, actually, now that I look, we do have a reasonable start, but not too much: http://wiki.diablofans.com/index.php/Category:Lore. There's some characters on there. I didn't know most of them existed, though. Hm...
If only I had the drive to actually do something, lol. It would be a great project for someone to consider, if someone's looking for how to contribute to the site.
When I have the time I will finish my poison necro guide haha. been busy lately I will also do the infinity nova sorc guide as these 2 are prob my 2 fave builds which I found the most enjoyable, so hopefully some other people can also enjoy them as much as I did.
We should really have someone make a good guide for making guides, so that all the character guides include vital information, make sense, have a good layout, and are written with the idea that the viewer knows nothing about Diablo II (IE, not constantly using acronyms without adequately explaining them, referring to skills without explaining why it's important, and stuff like that.)
Awesome job everyone; I'd say I've done the least out of all of us, I really only did the D3 skill pages...but maybe when I get less busy I'll put some time into more stuff. Thanks for the recognition though Great job everyone!
Is there any way to have it set up to where a mod has to approve the edits or additional pages?
The point of a wiki is to allow people to edit without actually registering. No need for us to do taht, we could always make the registration more of a hassle, or approve users and the likes, but ideally that's something we wish to stray from as much as possible.

The wiki will continue to expand, and if you want to help out just get over to the Wiki, or go to our Wiki Forums if you have any questions.
Btw, I am back from my retreat.

I might work on that guide guide later.

Fixed the Firebolt page. My god, some people are dicks.
Edit~
And the Rogue page.
Edit~~
And the rest are back to normal.
Is there any way we can prevent stuff like this? It seems to be happening too much.
Edit~~~
The same IP user is doing it again to the Rune page (67.171.199.59). (Edit: Fixed the Rune page again.)
