Wow, this is kind of neat. It feels for the first time in a long time like Blizzard is trying to conform its main franchises instead of giving them independent viewing platforms- kind of makes me want to respect them just a little more
This is definitely interesting- one can only hope the day will come when we can walk through the Blizzard theme park's pearly gates...
I think this is a pretty interesting contest, the theme certainly has a lot of things you can do with it.
However about that Blizzard theme park... I hope not. Unless of course they could make a flume ride with fire instead of water. That'd be awesome

Am I the only one concerned about the prize. A Starcraft beta key!? This makes me think that if only one game is being released this year, it will unfortunately be SC and not D3.
Of course that's teh case, assuming D3 will be released in 09 is just wishful thinking.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
with all they money blizzard has, i wonder if they will make an actual theme park... hehehehehehe crazy bastards
Who knows. I'm sure it would make money, but they'd probably lose a lot of credibility with their long time fans. But by then, they may not care about the long time fans anymore, but more about the new potential ones.
Well, the novelty would be cool for a while, at least. And just imagine if you won and one, if not all, of your ideas got incorporated? I just think that would be kind of neat. Oh well.

Yeah, cuz, you know... Starcraft and Diablo were sooooooooo indie.
Sir you win.
I believe I would move to the state that had the roller coaster and ride Blizzard rides all day
Could you imagine? A diablo haunted house?!?!?! OMG.
A Lich King 3D ride
A roller coaster called Spacecraft mountain O_o..
I would...love it.

hey in the rule they say "Limit one entry per person" so does that mean i cant make it in both side of the paper...? some one help b4 i fuck up b4 i begin
Yes, that's a whole other conversation. Still though, I'd love a Catacombs level haunted house. Or you know that safari part of Disney Land? They could do one of those but the theme is the Kurast Docks.
The whole video game industry is changing, folks. We may as well get used to it. Or just mainly play older games like I do.
Classic games rule, but there's still plenty of merit in newer games.
The only thing about new games that concerns me is how I've been seeing more blatant product placements in certain games. I doubt we'd ever see the Witch Doctor buying a Happy Meal from McDonald's in any future Diablo games, but I wouldn't put that sort of thing past other gaming companies.
And don't get me wrong, I understand that these advertisers help fund the games, but jeez... they could certainly do it with a little more tact instead of being so blatant about it. I'm already shelling out 40-60 bux for a game... I certainly don't need to be bombarded with advertisements.
Ok, I'm going off on a tangent here, so I now return you to our thread about the Blizzard Theme Park Contest already in progress.
Hmm, yes. I've noticed video game fansites are also increasingly rife with product placements.
Coca-cola is a great product!
I'd love a Blizzard themed park though, and if they can do it right this just proves how much money they actually rake in. Apparently enough to build a park. (If they're actually building one)
I don't even understand the purpose of the contest. No one actually thinks they'd build a theme park do they? This is all just for Blizzard to get more publicity.

I think that's called Wild Kingdom or something.
