Nice class, some cool powers actually, that hurricane somehow remembers me of the druid... maybe they'll have a lore explanation for that? Anyway slow time was really interesting but I can safely say they brought that from SC2... and that's a compliment from me, it was clever usage of their other franchises, but there are possible flaws which i won't get into anytime soon. Hoped they gave us yet another character, even if non-playable in the demo, but it actually pleased me so far.
it's amazing in the gameplay video (trailer), u can see the wizard cast a "meteor" like spell On a door with enemies and some kind of fire nuke (huge fire explosion). I thought the caster would be worse than this.

The Diablo Series is one of the only games with such a crazy fanbase and no game can top that!
I told you guys the caster would be amazing- Blizzard isn't capable of ever making a bad caster. And I would also like to publicly laugh at all the ignorant fools that said that teleport wouldn't be in Diablo III

To me the environment looks amazing.
I'm sure they will. A lot of this stuff is even more of what they would hate.
1) Skeleton Kings looks ripped from WoW (purple & red armor, huge fantasy weapon)
2) To depict tougher skeleton warriors, bigger shoulder pads, of course!
3) Pixelated blood, low resolution textures.
4) bright neon greens and blues.
Pretty much everything people who made petitions were worried about came true
But Wizard? I think they could have come up with something that hasn't been done over 9000 times.

D3 Pros: Outdoors environment, night time environment, female Barbarian, rune spell system, the Wizard class
D3 Cons: Fantasy architecture, fantasy armor, fanstasy weapons, no shaders.

1 That weapon isnt even as fantasy as the skeleton king himself. He looks fucking awesome. My favorite monster so far.

Honestly.. im disapointed.. The Wizard, was that all they could come up with after all this time? i was really expecting something mindblowling, something new - like The Witchdoctor! they said they didnt want to copy characters from D2, well.. GOOD JOB! they really manage to coppy sorc from D2, completely. It dsnt even look fun to play this "new" class.. it pretty much looks like close combat most of the time and wtf, thats not what a magic based character should do, one more thing, the animation of the spell casting etc it really looks crappy. they made barbarian and the witchdoctor amazing but this class is completely .. i dont know im very disapointed this really dragged me down. i was so excited before and i basicly ran to the computer when i came home and then i saw "the wizard" on this homepage, it really made me disapointed, cant describe really.. fuck this, why dont they just copy D2 and remake the graphics then every1 can be happy.. this class destroyed my vision:(

This was the first screenshot posted on the chat panel on the front page. Blizzard really changed the lighting and hues, no more blue and green. Is it just this particular dungeon now or all of them ? I would not mind variety in dungeon hues either.
I don't know about you guys, but the artwork and environments to Diablo III continue to stun me with how good they are. The foggy night atmosphere is so dreadful and creepy. I love it! It's truely shaping up to be a masterpiece!
