Here's a Diablo 3 fact:
I ain't coming out!
Move on with your miserable, outdated, single-player lives. Accept the fact that no matter what you do, whether opening forums such as these and posting some news that "hints" on the existence of the game, or any effort that leads to premature conclusions that this is under development, would be a waste of time.
Sheesh, I can't believe people are still spending so much time playing LOD. Same acts, same monsters, same point and click gameplay. I guess some of you were even surprised for the millionth time when you guys saw the robed figure turn into Diablo. Yes, it's the surprise of the decade!!!
No reason responding a 1 poster. Clearly you have no true influence here and you are as thick-headed as the rest of the slanders who usually come to such sites as ours and defile it's sanctity. Go play WoW or something..

I think this is a pretty interesting tidbit of info.
Notice blizzard is hiring...yes, as they always do.
But If they were hiring for a project other than d3..
They wouldnt say this.
"Blizzard Entertainment, the developer of Diablo and Diablo II,......."
They could have easily said World of Warcraft, Starcraft, Warcraft itself... But no, they chose specifically the diablo series to quote instead of their many other successful projects...

Can you smell what the Blizzard is cookin?
"for both 2D and 3D art assets is essential" it appears D3 will be 2d and 3d!
And don't worry about the French, I was able to read your post quite handily.
To add to his, and this may have been posted elsewhere, in fact I'm sure it was, but wasn't the name Hydra supposed to be sort of clue as to the game itself? I mean, there was the character from SC that looked darn close to Medusa, but perhaps this is referring more to the multi-headed-ness of a hydra? As in, multiple evils?

It's time to welcome the other 80% of the color wheel to a Diablo game.

Notice that jobs that are meant for WOW have a WOW symbol next to them (FAR RIGHT SIDE)
Notice the link that i gave you guys - does not have that symbol.
Also notice that the other links dicsussing "NEXT GENERATION MMO" are not showing WoW symbols either...
Yep, - Starcraft: Ghost, Diablo 3, or new franchise. That's what's left
I get your point though. Diablo 3 would seem the most likely because of that. But a new franchise from Blizzard would be pretty exciting, tyvm. Or Starcraft: Ghost - would have to have multiplayer though somehow. If it was multiplayer then it would probably dominate the FPS category too...
I can kind of wait for a Diablo III... I would like to see a Blizzard FPS, or their ideas of a new franchise.

Above all else - Blizzard is a money making machine. A Business.
From a business perspective, if you are raking in millions of dollars and you want to make more money - as all businesses do... Why would you go and attempt to create a whole new franchise if you still have an ace up your sleeve you have yet to play?
They are well aware that diablo is wanted and desired by millions of people - meaning that they will cash in on that cow before trying to sell us a hit or miss.
Well, knowing that Blizzard said themselves they have enough money to do whatever they want with games right now, why not take a break and test out a new franchise, some new, fresh ideas. It'd be fun for Blizzard! And money is no problem for them right

No business spends hundreds of thousands of dollars on paychecks, and millions in actual development unless they are 99% sure they will be getting a return on their investment.
No business rolls the dice on a "chance" to be successful when they have another option that ENSURES they will be successful.

Its common sense!
100% sure, to be exact. Even the famous Bill Gates doesn't do anything untill he's talked to a million and 1 advisors in a million and 1 councils, meetings and arrangements. Just because you have money doesn't give you the freedom to spend it. It's a vicious circle- The more money you get, the more you want to keep making.
Making this relevant to this thread, I believe that developing and finally launching the all so desired Diablo 3 will be the next 'shoe in' investment which will further break the record on the most popular and best selling game, adding to the already best selling serie, Diablo (in general). I don't give this a 99% chance, nor 100%, but a 110% success and what Diablo "harvested" in the last 10 years as what seems to be 18 million sold copies, Diablo 3 will make it an opening for its new launch. Meaning, it's gonna rock

At this point. Blizzard can eat a dick. They are not worthy of the Diablo series. and should be ashamed to still be represented by it.
no honor.
In the end, it was Blizz that made Diablo. We're just waiting for them to find a brain.

No. I give up.....
1. Its been wayyy too fucking long...
2. Blizzard is Warcraft/starcraft. and nothing else anymore.
3. The developers are no longer at blizzard, so even if there is a Diablo within the next few years. Blizzard is going to have to take major risk to even amount to the same level of the previous diablos.
Iv'e given up, And I hope some of you realize and stop doing this to yourself.

Bad logic, because mcdonalds tastes just as good or even better than when the "original creators" made the food.
Blizzard is a Warcraft, Starcraft, and Diablo company, and the longer you wait for Diablo III, the better it will be. "Good things come to those who wait." - If Blizzard listened to the whiners and the kids that couldn't wait, then we would have a real crappy Diablo that would have been released in 2005 by Blizzard North, and the reason those people are gone to begin with was Blizzard fired them for making a crappy Diablo III, so you should thank Blizzard for that move, because we don't want a crappy Diablo III. Patient grasshopper, and go live your life without wanting Diablo III so badly every day, you'll just stress yourself. One day (In the near future, of course) Diablo III will be released and you will love it, so don't worry to much and have fun with other games/life until then.
Aside from "too long" - look what happend with Starcraft, its been YEARS longer since Starcraft was released compared to Diablo II, and guess what? Starcraft II was finally announced, and it looks, feels, and will kick total ass. - Same thing with Diablo III, and did I mention SCII does not have all the original developers? - original developers mean nothing, refer back to my little mcdonalds example, and that holds water.

Why are people constantly losing faith. It's really pissing me off. This is Blizzard we're talking about. They spend a forever and a half on every game to make it the best it can be, that's why they are the best gaming company. Relax, and keep your ears open for news, it will come.

Hmmm maybe this means good ole D3 will be an MMO!
Since blizzard hasnt created anything truely original in a new franchise in about i think its...10 years now?
Your choices are starcraft, diablo and warcraft.
Wow just got an expansion, Starcraft has 2 coming out - and... well look whats left.

They have a brain. Games take time to be made, especially ones that are from a company that will NOT release it unless its number one. Be patient.
