So, the difference, in their language, being "Bhikkuni" (Female) and "Bhikku" (Male) doesn't seem too far off to me (Similar to Sorcerer and Sorceress)
And as far as Baishok's (hilarious) trolling, it seems that far too many kids are getting hung up over the little things, like translation.
Once again, we always go round and round, emilemil1, and end up arguing with each other, again.

Well, think of it as being short for "Female version of the Monk". It's all pedantics. Blizzard has achieved their goal. When someone says "I'm playing a Female Monk in Diablo III" you know what they're talking about. It makes no sense to argue small and stupid things.
(Sometimes =P)

Not so much. It detracts from the game, concentrating on the names of classes too much.
I feel that it is fine the way it is. Nothing is lost in translation here.
In fact, I just had an apostrophe. (Lightning just struck my brain).
These monks are from (currently unknown monastery) that sees no differentiation between Male and Female. They are warriors, and thusly named equally: Monks.
There, problem solved.

Getting schooled by a bus full of nuns is one thing... taking out Diablo's minions with Granny is something entirely different. I want epic, not hilarious.

It will most likely be a ranger, that's all that's left for them to make. The question is "What kind of ranger?"

Enter the bard! I want a character that so many RPGs have introduced yet failed to deliver. Remember Edward from FF6 (FF3 SNES)? Lets do some killing with music. Call the class Siren.
As we know in Diablo 2, the aim for the amazon was to make a very versatile character, skilled with the bow and the javelin.
I prefer the bow and two short(er) swords. And make some fun skills with them. With the new type skill system in Diablo 3, I can see the placement of skills for both kinds of weapons feasible and promising. As apposed to the typical one or the other type of character such as the javazon or the bowazon we typically saw in Diablo 2.
I'm aware that the quick weapon swap feature has been removed for Diablo 3, but I don't think this takes away from being able to use two different weapon classes for a character. Either you are forced to place your secondary set of weapons in your inventory or you leave them back in your stash in town. As the game progresses in difficulty I see everyone having a secondary weapon for their respective classes anyways for all sorts of reasons. One of those having to do with monster resistances.
This is my preferred kind of fifth class. I am very much apposed to "fifty" redundant kinds of dodge skills like the amazon's passive tree. I hate that and it takes a lot of the fun out of the anticipation of getting new skills because they are all seem the same.

you already won't get your class. Bashiok already stated that the only dual wielders will be monk and barb.
I've actually got a bet with my friends on this one. I feel like we still need a physical damage ranged class. What better way then with a good 'ol bow/javelin?

I'm guessing it will be some sort of a rogue assassin. He would use bows for ranged, and daggers for melee. He might have some sort of stealth abilities like the WindWalk from Wc3, and he would gain 100% increased attack speed for 3 seconds when he get's out of the WindWalk.
He will have Critical damage and also a Bash ability (Chance to stun).
His skill-trees will divide into Ice, Fire and Poison.
The Ice will obviously slow the enemies and possibly have a chance to freeze enemies for a short time (0.1sec?)
The Poison will obviously drain life slowly from enemies, could have a chance to make the enemy delirious and attack a fellow demon for a short time.
The Fire will have a chance to ignite enemies and drain life from enemies and make them have a lower chance of hit success, and the fire could possibly spread to closer enemies.

A class that uses bow / throwing weapon skills, sounds right because throwing weapons still exist in the game from what I can tell.

Yea a necromancer in D3 would pwn. Especially if he will technically be the same necro from D2. He will be so old this time xD
A sling class /troll
