Human Demon hybrids are called the Naphalem i think, and they are blessed with great magical power methinks..
Maybe they could incorporate the upcoming Death Knight class system into Diablo 3, with some one becoming a Naphalem or perhaps the same for heaven with a Angel/Human hybrid. But like Elfen has said, its not a popular idea throughout the majority of people the frequent these forums.
in diablo, nephalem are the offsprings of angels and demons. i would go into it more but i think some other people could explain more stuff better than i can.
-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.

I think that a celric would be a cool class. But when u said the boosts it would give that is basically a next century Barb... LOL. We need a character that can do like nothing but healing as u mentioned like they can cast a heart of oak or something like that or a shrine for a period of time depending on how may skills put in there
The Nephilem isn't a popular idea ... but along those thoughts ... it could be possible to incorperate a system where by your actions you either gain more more demonic corruption or become closer to Purity ... and gain bonus abillities... or as its called Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (2nd Ed) gaining Spell-like Abilities that are above and beyond the character class.
i know that they don't have dragons in the diablo universe, but that would be cool if the necromancer could use like 10 corpses in order to create a skeletal dragon, in the image of his master, trag'oul
just add the original type classes with male/female combination for some... please exclude all this other crap like ninjas, illusionist, captain planet and the rest of the warcraft/ lord of the rings/ special magic crap
LOl WOOOT CAPTIN PLANET!!! THAT JUST MADE MY DAY!...He is right thoughl.

But Captain Planet is a hero, he's gonna take pollution down to zero.
At least he didn't assume the list was solely mine, that was nice of him. He didn't specifically imply the list was anybody's but more often than not when someone voices their distaste for a class or classes, they seem to assume I suggested every class in the list. I did not.
Yes certain specialist mages seem pointless or redundant in diablo, but if someone can full explain to me why they should oe shouldn't be in it then I will listen, heck you may even convince me to join your way of thinking. I hate it when people say "nah that idea is lamo, like an emo" and don't even try to explain why.
Why couldn't a bard be in the diablo world or games? Or a Cleric? Clerics have some pretty bad ass skills/spells, but everyone just views them as a "healer" and with an abundance of potions in diablo what use is a healer? I really like the cleric class, being devoted to a higher being, calling down their wrath to smite the cleric's enemies, being abolishing undead with a vengence, buffing themselves into killing machines, people here do know clerics can do all that stuff right?
But I will say sme classes are a bit of a stretch, but could people at least try and say why. IDK, guess i'm just sick of people knocking people's suggestions no matter how silly without even trying to enlighten the person as to while their idea is flawed.

The bard should be able to fit in the diablo universe its on diablo hellfire isent it? Clerics could work out 2. I think they should have whole new characters to refresh us. Just as long as its not like ninja classes are some bs idiodic thing like that. (Lol a ninja in the diablo2 universe. So out of place.)

After many years without playing diablo 2 lod I gave it a try again and played it calmly reading many things the npc's said wich I had long forgotten. At Act3 (my favorite) somethings caught my attention, like the old religion called Skatsim and the Taan mage clan wich someone talked about it earlier in this thread. Now with the power of the church of Zakarum lowered, I think it would be a good idea to bring a character based on this religion or based in the continent Kurast city is located.
So, after looking a bit to Ormus I realized he looks like some kind of a native and the top of his staff remembered me of Montezuma. Anyway, my idea for a class then would be some kind of Shaman, throwing totems around like the Witchdoctor of war3. I think WoW has this class too but I never played it so I don't know. The totems would be a skilltree and they would do some different things like Assassin's traps, Necromancer's Curses, Paladin's Auras and Druid's spirits. Another skilltree could be some elemental magic doing some damage and the other with passive's and other shit.
PS: I read it somewhere in this thread that Elfen Lied posted a file with the Diablo 2 NPC text, I searched it but couldn't find. Can you link it for me, please? Thanks!
