its temporary, which is fine, and i agree if you were an angel or demon you would have some of the skills such creatures possess, but it shouldnt be overpowering or everyone would just go that class.
i think the most logical or possible way for you to be a demon (or an Angel) in d3, if for a chracter to have a skill that morphs him or her into one.

ya a skill to temporarely morph into angel or demon would be really awesome, but they should make it more fun than useful because demons and angels are supposed to be so much powerful than humans... having the skill like the druids werewolf would just make it seem out of place... then there would just be demon's and angels running around everywhere

if it is a skill it would have to be a lvl 30 skill, or the d3 equivalent. Then it wouldnt be that far out of place.

This priest of Zakarum is dedicated to annihilating the forces of darkness that perverted and destroyed his religion. Using a skillset consisting of Healing spells, Divine Retribution (attack spells), and Aura spells, he will venture into the very mouth of Hell to exact his revenge.
Most similar to a Healadin - weaker than an attack Paladin, but with greater magic.
2. The Ranger
Hailing from a group of soldiers trained to patrol the border between the Barbarian lands and the 'civilized' regions of Einsteig, the Ranger now turns his sights to stopping the demonic invasion through the use of his Tracking abilities (includes skills like revealing the entire auto-map, town portal, find potion and find gold, etc.,), Enchant Arrow skills (similar to the Amazon's in D2), and Call of Nature powers (similar to a Druid's summoning skillset - can summon plants to heal him or hurt the enemy or act as a shield of leaves, etc.)
A cross between an Amazon and a Druid.
3. The Ninja
Raised amongst the Vizjerei mage clan to serve as a bodyguard to high-ranking sorcerers, many ninjas died during the final demonic attack on the Vizjerei stronghold. Many of those who did not lit out for the West, using their Stealth abilities (invisibility, opening chests without a key, and thinks of that nature), Traps (the Assassin's skillset), and Martial Arts (likewise) to fight against the demonic invaders.
An assassin with a bit more focus on melee.
4. The Shaman
Following the death of Baal, many of the Barbarian clans re-united into a single faction looking to avenge the desecration of their sacred lands. To this end they trained many of their number in the ancient ways of Summoning (golems, animals, etc.), Totemic Magic (summoning a totem from the Earth to give the Shaman a temporary power, similar to the Paladin's auras), and Elemental magic (using the raw elements of nature - like lightning, fire, etc. - to attack their opponents) and sent them west.
A cross between a Necro and a sorceress.
5. The Bard
Hailing from the fractured lands of Westmarch and Khanduras, many of these wandering rogues fled the destruction of their lands to find refuge amongst the Rogues of Einsteig. Since then many have traveled further East, using their Thievery (stealing from shops, opening chests and doors, pick-pocketing NPC's), Song (aura and healing magic), and Mandolin (playing tunes on the Mandolin that can harm enemies) skills in their neverending quest for fame and fortune.
6. The Mercenary
A soldier of ill-repute from the shattered armies of Khanduras, the Mercenary is a professional warrior who offers his skillset of Melee (various melee powers), Drills (temporary stat boosters), and Strategizing (abilities similar to the Ranger's 'Tracking' skillsey) to the highest bidder.
Like a warrior from the first game.
7. The Occultist
A member of a sub-sect within the Visjerei dedicated to the study of demonology, this secretive class has the power to Enchant (temporarily give an item the powers of a gem-socketed object; higher levels can permanently enchant mundane weapons and armor), Enslave (use the powers of demons against themselves; at higher levels can turn demons temporarily to their side), and use Hellfire (magic fire-based attacks that ignore resistances and, at higher levels, invulnerabilities).

its not that i wan't to see racess involved, i like diablo the way it is. but imo it is possible for some classes to have a skill or two, to shapeshift into some kind of monstruous or angelic form.
(still akin to the good/evil idea)
A shepeshift would be possible, but would have to be implemented i na reasonable way too. All classes up to this point have had solid ground to stand on in Lore. i don't want some random class that can shapeshirt into ana angel just come in.

A soul-stealer sort of class:
Uses monsters and their strengths against themselves:
1 set of skills based upon possessing & controlling monsters...possible sub-skills being the type of monsters that can be possessed, the speed at which you canswitch from one monster to another, number of monsters that remain yours after switching, the effectiveness of monsters under your control, perhaps a skill to modify the behaviour of your monsterish allies(?)
another set of skills based upon doing sneaky things like being invisible, teleporting, stealing items and weapons off monsters, causing fear and confusion amongst monsters, borrowing or tapping into the strengths of your allies, perhaps an ability to study and learn about monsters' abilities to become resistant to them (in playing terms this would just mean that as a passive skill, you are more resistant to their attacks, not that you get detailed stats etc... )
another set of skills based upon physical or magical damage dealing
This idea I really like. This should be expanded on. Fight fire with fire as they say.

i think the most logical or possible way for you to be a demon (or an Angel) in d3, if for a chracter to have a skill that morphs him or her into one.
It would have to make sense. I see two possible ways as it is. Either you steal the ability from them (like the above class suggestion) or you are granted it by servitude. If the game is indeed divided into a good and evil side and players are able to choose sides, both could be viable. Having this power would bring about some bonuses and drawbacks of course, but that's hypothetically speaking, since I really don't see Blizzard implementing such a skill ever.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
of course it would have to make sense, the skill is only available at high lvls, or from an item.
but prehaps the best course of action is to not include this idea. at least not as a skill. but prehaps a d3 version of "delerium" might happen.

true, i also think it would be better if they don't use the demon/angel thing. but i only think it would be possible for blizzard to it.
think of it this way:
if blizzard decided they will implement such a thing as morph into a demon/angel, they sure as hell will be creative enough to make it good and balanced.
if blizzard decided not to implement that whole concept, we won't miss it

Dream as if you'll live forever, and live as if you'll die today. "James Dean"
a angry strong villager who wields a blunt object, (ex: board, board +
"nail" rune) with an alcoholic drink in his off hand or a two handed rusty pitch fork. his skill trees would be...
1) swearing/curseing (like barbs yells)
2) alcohol skills (increases drunken fighting, passing out[super fast recovery], and shortining of the hangover)
3) weapons skills.
First of all I think the addition of a Cleric/Priest will be great in D3. The game should be more of a party playing thing where everyone plays as a different class and specializes in different areas (Combat, Support, Healing). I honestly think solo play isnt anywhere near as good as playing in a large party. But it is possible for a Cleric to be a good solo play character. He'll obviously heal himself and his merc. And provide support. But what I think is that the Cleric should be able to hire multiple mercenaries and all you do is heal and buff them up. Also he can regenerate mana as well as HP so a mage merc will do nicely.
Its just like a summon necro.. all you do is curse the enemies really. Unless you have some psn/bone spells with you but they never get too powerful unless you focus on one or the other.
For a class I'd like to see is the Weaponmaster.
For feats:
-Has Mastery of every single weapon or weapon combination. (Bow, dagger, sword+shield, or 2 sword) So it will increase: Damage, AR and Critical Strike rate.
-able to wield all weapon classes: (Possibly Bow and Sword) not at the same time but is easily able to switch between them.
-Insanely high critical strike rate. (able to one hit kill most normal monsters monsters as long as its not consecutive, have at least a 10-second cool-down for most skills)
-The downside of all this is he wont be able to use heavy armor so his defense will be low.
Demonic Rush: Charge up to enemy with any melee weapon cutting them down instantly. (+50% chance of Critical Strike, to a maximum of 95%) Linkable to up to 5 targets. (add another target every 3 levels)
Sheild Bash Strike (Similar to Smite): Bash target with sheild stunning them for 2-5 seconds, then strike with melee weapon equipped. (+30-50% Critical Strike rate)
Sense: While attacking a target with ranged weapon, the Weaponmaster is able to sense any monsters lurking behind him and suddenly strike it with a melee weapon with great speed and power.
Well.. it's my first post so tell me what you think! Btw I actually like the idea of subclasses, like a character only specializing in a certain tree. Not the build crap in D2.

Add a shaman that can morph into a like wearbear, and take away the druids one.... And the shaman has earth spells ofc, along with healing and buffing.... and totems
Lythrocany(sp ofc)-
Wearbear- Transforms you into a wearbear giving you the ability to be a great fighter but your mana and spell damage is sacrificed, while your healing spells remain the same
Lythro(ofc)- Improves your damage, health, and mana whilst in wearbear form
Winds of the north- Gives all allies within 100 yards a bonus in attack damage(only in wearbear form can you cast this, it will be uncast once you exit wearbear form)
Winds of the East- Gives all allies withing 100 yards a bonus in health(only in wearbear form can you cast this, it will be uncast once you exit wearbear form)
Having the shaman replace the driud sounds good but instead of the having the shaman morph into a bear or wolf which are both melee
maybe he can have a tranformation for both a melee and caster like thingy
Instead of making a Barbarian make a very specific character - Axe Weilding Barbarian or something... but that would probably not work, but that is what I would prefer, having very strict rules on every class so there will be less confusion in the first few characters you make

Sorcerer,
A female wizard with antigravity and elemental powers.
Druid,
Can tranceform and use elemental powers, can tame or summon animals.
Assassin,

Archer/Hunter,

Priest,
Buffs players, uses holy power.
Monk,
Uses his/her fist and legs to stun or kill enemy.
Dwarf,
Uses axes or swords.
If it's a Sorcerer it can't be female, the female Sorcerer is called Sorceress
Dwarf can't be a class, It's a whole new race. and we basically agreed we want D3 to stay human.
