Well, this storyline is more of an idea. You guys can create storylines from this.
Diablo had a secret, Only few knew about. Why would Andy team up with Diablo?
Were they protecting something? In my point of view, Diablo has a son, and this son will bring chaos to the world and try to ressurect The Three. He would also get other warriors to help him. Making Diablo 3, A planned Heaven vs Hell, a game where you choose your side, Evil or Good.
Oh, I used to be on the Old Diablo 3 site, I was the guy called Izual, you probably forgot me. Blizzard always loves to do stuff like that. Lets all hope that there's no mazes in Diablo 3. I would die if it wasn't for teleport and enigma.
You also have to remember that Diablo teamed up with Duriel, who was a lesser evil. What is his business in Tal Rasha's Chamber? To defend Baal? I thought he was in a scheme to keep the Three banished from Hell. Maybe he is there protecting Baal's release so that he couldn't be set upon Sanctuary and Hell. Who knows...
hmmm, Duriel does say 'looking for Baal' when you fight him.
now if he was there to stop baal's release, then he clearly failed. the lesser evil reteaming with the prime evils seems more logical, which is infact what happened. in act 1 cain says something along the lines of 'its seems andariel and the other lesser evils have once again united with the prime evils, this does not bode well for you my friend'

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
Twist- After defeating the first son, he says as he lies dying, "My brother lives"
Which by then the other son has summoned Diablo with the rest of the Prime Evils.
what stone? it was destroyed if you recall. and enough of this father son stuff im sure blizzard can com up with a vastly superior storyline to that.
hell, the essences of th prime evils once released from the smashed soulstones reforming into prive evils is 100 times better and more plausable than the father son stuff people keep spurting out

Well, In my opinion it could be a good story line.
I meant is that What could the destruction of the worldstone mean in my storyline.
Would the world be changed. Perhaps another continent would open up which contains a portal to hell?
when the worldstone was corrupted it would allow demons to enter the mortal realm more easily, destoying it is suppose to stop this, but not indifinitely.

'destoying it is suppose to stop this, but not indifinitely.' means that it will only slow down the advance of hell's armies. i think you need to read posts a little more before you post

I was thinking that since alot of games usually have the good and evil join up to fight the bigger evil. That blizzard may to try that with diablo3, but there can't be no worst evil than the three brother Meph, Diablo, and Baal.

Just seems to Straightforward as we all know blizzard loves to pull twist in the storyline

Any ideas how to involve the worldstone?
