I am planning it and I am still in the church. So if you are talking to me you kinda should be in the church too.
Love the frequencies of the responses but you guys gotta give me a chance to reply, looks like im in 8 different conversations at the same time. I can't keep up with everyone.
Thanks, Elfen. Didn't mean to sound complaintative- if I did, sorry I was able to figure it out after reading the other replies better.
Godammit!
K, so my dial up is down. And it's going to be several days till I can get DSL.
At the library right now... fucking everyone is playing online poker, this place is like a casino.
Seriously, NOBODY is actually studying.
Guess I can't complain though, I'm not studying either.
SO YEAH, will be a while till I can post once more with any consistancy :(.

That's alright man things are kinda slow right now anyway. My suggestion is to get into that poker game!
It just takes time to plan stuff out. Where it should go, how I should go about getting it there.
Dealing with several people doing completely different things at the same time makes it a little tricky too, I can't address everything that going on, which is kinda unfair to people, but I just can't do it within reason, so I have to somewhat pick and choose which post I am referring to when I begin the basis of my next one.
Also the lack of a presence from Jetrall doesn't help. this is actually more his RP than mine.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
Actually, I'm kind of curious. When you guys came up with this, or other RPs, do you actually map out an entire story first and let us just kind of fill in the gaps with you pointing the direction? Or is it more you have the beginning and the end figured out, and you kind of wing it throughout the rest? I think the first may be more time consuming before the RP, but it would probably help the story play out better. Especially if almost every single town is mapped out, and all the characters we meet are given their own style. But then that gets pretty time consuming.
I wish we were all on the same timezone. That'd make things a lot easier I'm sure.
You know, maybe I'll just start writing another RP in the Diabloverse. It wouldn't be done anytime within the next few months, but I think if I could put a lot of thought into it, and try to find ways of fixing some of the hickups that have been made so far, well then... Hmmm. I think I have a few ideas to play with. Okay, thanks for helping to get the creative juices flowing again.
I also think starting the RP at a time when there isn't a Blizzcon or SCII or DIII or WoW release might be beneficial. lol
Not to be confused, I still want in on this RP. My own RP writing will be secondary.

When I began my other one I had much more of it mapped out. I was two or three quests at least a head of where we were at in the story. The only thing that made that one hard was it was split into three parts, so I had to plan for three different, yet similtaneous storylines.
I try to invlove the players as much as I can so they feel more apart of the story, instead of say the merc from act 2, just coming along foe the ride and not doing a heck of a lot. I try to make you guys feel more like a character from say Baldur's Gate. Always interracting with the main protagonist and those who are with him at any given moment.
So yeah it takes a lot of time thinking how best to involve everyone, I'm always thinking in terms of RP, do I wish to include some off the wall joking around with one person, or do I wish to include some saucy banter between two characters.
I wish we were all on the same timezone. That'd make things a lot easier I'm sure.
Yes, yes it would.
Oh and in my last post where i said "2 score" I was referring to the various NPCs or Non Player Characters in the Knights of the Burning Blade. We wouldn't be much of a mercenary army or a militia if we didn't have throngs of nameless people who can get killed off at a whim.

Sorry, Eldermoon. I had to remove your post as it does not mesh with our storyline. Jamis cannot currently be healed. :/
np. I just thought that if we were moving on to a battle you would want to be healed and i thought your injury was being overlooked from the story line. I didn't even want my character to be a healer, I was just doing what I thought we needed. I understand why you removed it and in fact I am glad.
Kinda think I have to be with the group that comes in from the west. Not that a want to be all controlling or anything but it will be easier/better if I with that group. At leastt on my main character. I can rock a NPC for the main group.

So, do I have this correct: There is a small group that will sneak in and open the west gate, and another party will enter through there, and there is another group that is directly hitting the north gate? Does that cover everyone?
The group that comes in from the west has two parts. A smaller group say 3 people, that will trick the guards into opening the gates, they are disguised as Riddians after all, and the larger group that is hiding in the trees ready to rush in when the smaller group has opened the gates.
Mean while the rest of us will be attacking from the north.

Well maybe not. You could use the canoe to get across the river to tie a rope off so you can attach a carabena to it to secure horses to it so they don't float away while they cross the river with the supplies for the attack.
Other than that, I really don't know what you would use it for.

Are people not reading my posts? or are people just kinda mis reading them?
Seems like I am repeating myself a lot.
"Alright Buliwyf. Where are we going to get these uniforms for our disguises?"
I already told you, a small outpost. We kill the people in it and take their clothes.

Sorry, I meant for my post to be a push to go get the disguises. I just tried to do it in a way without saying " Lets go". I changed it to be more direct.

So did Elfen give up on this game or what?
I do like Scyber's last post though. "Zombie Dogs" hahahaaha
