Going on the third day without power here in New York. Now I have to bring all my gadgets to charge at work. Need my D3 fix soon.

In eastern PA here. Lights went out on Monday night about 8:00-8:30, came back on Tuesday around 5:00. We almost made 24 hours without power.

Good for you guys. I think I'm close to 72 hours now without power. Well, I'm not home at the moment, but I hope I get a nice surprise when I get back tonight.

I was in the projected pathway of it and 15 minutes outside of Atlantic City. Turned down south a bit and went over us. We got some wind and rain and about 2 seconds of power outage, but that was it. Really dodged the bullet, especially considering how badly Atlantic City got smashed.

New Yorkers are so soft these days.

*In the distance, "Get your free New Yorker here, hit the bottles and win a free New Yorker!! They're soft and cuddly and curse at you in cute voices! Win your free New Yorker here!!*

But seriously, it is tragic. Loss of life isn't funny unless they died hilariously, like a... what, no I don't want a New Yorker, go away... What was I saying, oh yeah, Loss of life isn't funny unless they died hilariously, like a flying tire to the face, or getting strangled by a 98 year-old grandmother. If you die from her then you don't deserve to live.

BTW, how many of you read this in the typical New York accent?

Again, loss of life isn't funny, unless the ending of the said life was hilarious.
