Just thought I would send a hello to everyone here! I've been reading about Diablo 3 a lot as of late and thought it would be nice to join a community of nice people that share the same tastes!
Anyway, my name is Kayla - yeah - a girl that can't wait for D3 :-) I'm 23 and am currently in college finishing my studies as a fitness trainer. (I can't wait to be done with school!!)
I've played almost all of Blizzard's games with the exception of Warcraft 1 and 2. I don't care much for real time strategy games generally, but didn't mind Warcraft 3. I've played (and recently quit) Wow after playing it since before launch in closed beta. I was lucky enough to meet and have lunch with some of the developers on WoW at E3 2003 in LA, which ultimately landed me spot in the Beta. They were sweet guys and all had cool warcraft shirts on! <3
I've recently started playing D2 again (bought the collectors chest) and am playing around with the classes to see which I want to take to 99 again (it's been years since I last played and can't find my old cd key and can't remember my user name and pass so I will have to start out again. I'm thinking either a sorc or Barb, but I've been reading something about hammerdins that leads me to believe that a certain paladin spec is overpowered and fun to play - any thoughts?
Not sure what else to say at the moment other than maybe what I like to do in my spare time when not playing games.
I love blogging - I've had a couple of different blogs and am now just in the process of creating a new one specifically for my D3 adventures. I'll let you all know the addy in a pm when it's set up if you like
I love movies too; some of my favorites are the LOTR trilogy, the Bourne movies, Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Good Will Hunting, Mr. & Mrs Smith, and others I can't think of at the moment.
I also love TV - well sort of. There are certain shows that I cannot miss - they are:
American idol, 24, Hell's Kitchen and anything on the Food Network!
Anyway, I'd like to set up my avatar and signature now, so I will leave this post at that. Please reply and introduce yourself and I will do my best to get to know everyone as quickly as possible while using the boards!
I've seen season 1 of the new series, but not past that. I really enjoyed it too, I just haven't gotten around to renting the seasons after that (I missed them when they were on tv) :~(
About Idol: I remember watching a robot chicken episode, and a doll looking like Seacrest was on it in a dress, saying 'Seacrest OUT!' lol I rofl'd so hard.
they'll never see me coming.. life is a sequence of tragedies, inconsistent only by fleeting, elusive moments of pleasure,
serving only to ensure absolute vulnerability to the pain of their inevitable absence.
forgot to say welcome
also mephisto's lament, i was just joking as well

We may have some talk on training some time perhaps, if you have time?
I would be interested to hear your thoughts on a few debates on some training styles.
We need a "general" fitness thread somewhere... I dont think any are currently alive.
There are more of us (regular posters anyway) than that...I think???
Anyway, welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here.

Yea...no...
I do agree with Mr. and Mrs. Smith though.
Either way, welcome to the forums.

@Legilimens: Glad I could make your day!! LOTR does indeed rock
Thanks for the welcomes!

Rise and rise again, until lambs become lions
No, at first it was an interesting show. Then...
*Shakes his head from side to side mumbling...* The horror... The horror...
Equinox: 0
Girls: 1802
Oh, and, umm, the Eye is watching you.
Where's the avy from? I like it. Looks like something from a DnD game.
Rise and rise again, until lambs become lions

That wasn't meant in any offensive jest, mind you.
