my name is adam, im a art student in san diego CA, i study Game Art and Design ( game developement major ).
Tusday, January 16th, marks the release of 'The Buning Crusade', another giant step by the blizzard team, but after this, there leaves space for a new project. i believe the next project is Diablo 3, why? because i still have hope in blizzard that they have not forgotten the fan base for that game, sure, world of warcraft took some of the ideas from diablo and made it into an MMORPG, but it lacks the dark, overall feeling that one would get from diablo, that massive ammount of exciting items, unique weapon names like Windforce, as well as a deep story line and characters. I am a current player of WoW, but im am moving back over to guildwars because i am bored with WoW, i didnt hit level sixty, but i have no desire to go that high because its a waste of time. DIablo offered some what fast leveling, and seemingly endless ways to develope your character for PvP.
We all know blizzard has a tendancy to slack and procrastinate, such as the previous patch for diablo 2, but dont we all remeber .08? how much fun that patch was. there is a term that's used in the buisness world, KISS. Keep it Simple Stupid. blizzard did just that in diablo, it had simple things, but provided endless fun, plaers made the currency themselves, and allowed the wealthier players to choose which way the economy would go, also any new player with enough drive would be able to reach the ranks of the rich. I've been waiting, just as long as anyone else for a diablo 3, i continue to check the blizzard site for news... diablo will be great again, WoW was not its replacement.
thats my intoduction post, hope to speak with all of you soon.
