I hate World of Warcraft. I personally think it's a disgrace to the Warcraft series.
You're useless. You have to explain WHY you feel that way. This comment = spam.
While I was in college a few years back I went through like a 1 month splurge of WoW. I got to around level 35ish. I'll probably never understand why the game is so appealing to people. How can people play such horridly monotonous quests over and over again. Collect 10 blahs, kill blah in this area, kill 10 blahs, talk to blah. Then this repeats throughout most of the game. Then I hear people say, "It gets fun towards the end". Why should I have to wait until the end to have fun in a game. I just couldn't stick to WoW. It just didn't seem innovated enough for me. I do however, think it's a great addition to the Warcraft Lore. It took an RTS game and turned it into a very intriciate captivating world. It just wasn't my cup of tea.
That shouldn't happen, I've often killed enemies near other mobs they are not allied with, and they didn't run to their aid.
Might be an addition only to TBC though, don't know for sure. it might be that I only tested this in Outland.
It's happened more than once. They run off in the general direction of the nearest creature not on my side, but mostly they go get a "true" ally, another creature of the same type, level etc. But every now and again they pull these randoms monsters out of the woodwork.
Biggest problem I have is, it's not a single player game, just about every quest I find myself on seems targeted towards multiple players. Timezones kills my chances of playing with most of you guys and everyone I met online are jackasses. So I have to solo.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
Elfen I used to play the game ONLY at night, and it was hella fun playing with all the kiwis an aussies that were on the server I was on, you should really check out the Draenor ( PVE ) realm it's packed with people from new zealand an austrailia, europe, there's a couple guilds devoted to players just from those areas, so you'd always have people on to play with and have a fun time with.
I gave up on my wow ventures, the game is nothing but rinse an repeat, nothing new every thing's the same with a different gift wrapping, I played it since a couple weeks after the games release in 2004.
Tomorrow Age of Conan opens up to the world as a whole, and I'm diving into a pve server, there's some imbalance with Free For All pvp on the pvp realms and spawn camping but it's being quickly addressed by Funcom which is really nice on their part.
World of Warcraft is a great game, however the reason I think you should stay away from it (and why I'm mad at Blizzard ) is because it is addicting. This video is an actual broadcast from BBC explaining my argument.
