PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

Don't worry, WoW works very well on a 56k modem. If you have any lag issues it is most likely due to your RAM. Fortunately, it is quite cheap to upgrade that if you need to.

got bad news, my cpu isnt fixed yet. My uncle scott is fixing the driver issues for me cause i really suck at complicated things on cpu's lol. I'll make it tomorow or Friday, but i will hav an account soon. i got 2 gigs of ram in it, it should run fine. its got like 256 graphic card, 2 gigs of ram, dual core, BUT has dial-up...
only problem u'll have will be to get the patches. If you have a friend with dsl to download the patches for you or a net cafe its gonna be good. Otherwise its hopeless, without the next concent patch we have 1.34 gb (might be less with the expansion disk). Average size for the major content patches is around 250-300mb

You're perfectly fine, in fact you seem to have quite a beast there. I'm not sure though how WoW works with Dual-Core, but it shouldn't be a problem.
If there are no problems with the dual-core though, then I suspect you will be able to play WoW on max settings.

That yes, will be a huge problem for you. I hope you bought the expansion also, because otherwise you won't be playing for days to come.

nah, its more like every 3 months or so for the major content patches (the ones that add armor sets, new instances, new quests etc). Downloading it from a dial up would take forever, especially on the crappy Blizzard Downloader. I usually take external links (or use my guilds ftp <3).
aw i see well ima get my cpu back today my its supposed to have the newest patch on it but i doubt if its in the right place. Where do i stick the patch at in the WoW folders?
But if that doesn't work, you could always sell your car, because you won't be needing that one either after you start playing;)

You mean to tell me you cant scrape up enough money over 2 months for your next subscrition of $30????
Here's a idea quit bitchin and get a job.
why is that? just cause the dl for patches will take me forever on dial up?
And how often do new patches come up on wow, it isnt like every week is it??
