looks pretty silly but the music sounds great to me (sounds just like d2)

According to Wikipedia and Shack News and Google. Its Matt Uelmen whos doing the music for Torchlight
Thats right... Matt Uelmen
yes i knew it was him, but it isn't even something new from him it's the same old.
and i love it ><
if you listen to this right after watching that you can hear how similar it sounds
edit: oh here's the "that" i was referring to: that
(it's the e3 video of torchlight)

i'll give torchlight a chance.. honestly i'm gonna play it.
the ambiance by sound is way more important to me than ambiance by looks.
i can deal with shit graphics.. if it sounds awesome, i can still get involved.
(and the graphics aren't even bad for the style, they're just not what i prefer)

Matt Uelman was such an incredible composer, his music fit the previous 2 games perfectly.
I really wish Blizzard North was still with Blizzard, god they would have made D3 SO much better if both of them had collaborated on the project.
Though, Blizzard seems to be doing a pretty incredible job on their own ^^.
Excited to see how this Torchlight game turns out, will have to keep track of it.
You can really see how the game Fate has influenced Torchlight, anyone ever play that game ?
I played it for about a half hour on my new computer, it was included as a demo.
Reminded me of the diablo games, basically it was the exact same game, with different graphics.

WOW.....I almost think hellgate looks better than this : P. I'm sure it'll be decently fun, as was hellgate (when your weren't PO'd from some error or bug), but we all know this game wont even come close to D3. man i cant wait.
wow this game looks like dungeon runners and diablo 3 put together, it looks like a PG rated diablo 3, lol. i will not be buying such a stupid looking game, i expected ALOT better from the creators of diablo.

Even if one takes every reefer madness allegation of the prohibitionists at face value, marijuana prohibition has done far more harm to far more people than marijuana ever could
Anyone else wondering how this game will do ?
If they release it before D3 they'd be incredibly smart, would give people something to play while they wait for D3.
But if they release after D3, the game is screwed.

Heh, same.
While I would like to see the guys from Blizzard North succeed.... this just doesn't look like a money maker.
I'm actually considering buying it though, if its cheap enough.
dimebog who's to say blizz didnt copy their ideas?
they made a first version of d3 that the current version may still borrow from.
also having a lot of blood and gore limits the release in some countries that have restrictions on violence.
and.. who needs physics as long as it's fun.

It's funny how there are 4 (or 5) abilities that are exact copies of the Barbarian abilities from D3, and health/mana globes..
it seems like you were saying some skills from torchlight are exact copies of abilities from the current D3
but ok, maybe you were talking about the old blizzard north version of d3?
i guess they're different enough that no one is sueing (i imagine blizzard owns all the rights to the previous scrapped version of d3)

And in the end he attaches a lure to a fishing pole, indicating that the game has fishing.
But yeah, they threw the idea of physics right out the window.
