PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
Right now it depends on the betas. 4-5 months may not be long enough for them to be in betas, since much balance and bug testing needs to be done. I think end of December is a feasible time for it to be released, but I also expect they'll have an open beta for server stability testing, so it could in theory be earlier than that (or if it's released later, at about the same time) for those who want it enough. While it's very possible to happen late December, I doubt anyone would be too suprized if it came out in like April 09.
Guys I really doubt it will be out this year. You know how Blizzard is with games. The game doesn't look like it's THAT close to being done. They still have a crapload of testing and balancing and all that stuff in order to perfect the game before they will even consider releasing it.
Game only 1/3 of the way complete, and likely NOT coming out by end of year.
That's 1/3 of the CAMPAIGN, in my opinion, the beta could start anytime. The beta has nothing to do with the campaign it's all multiplayer, isn't it?
1/3 of the campaign means the terrans are done, and are now making the protoss and zerg, along with the cinematics. The units are ready, the graphics are ready, only the cinematics, and the maps need to get set. Oh, and some lore. That couldn't take THAT much time, now, could it?
I believe it's going to be beta-testing in oct, and game release somwhere around march/april. But definitely not late 09 or 2010. That's ridiculous.

1UP: Can you talk about how the team arrived at the decision for a wider color palette?
RP: Yeah, so we've probably been through, I don't know, maybe three major art direction changes on the game. And the previous two were probably a little more similar to the Diablo II look. But it just didn't feel right anymore. It didn't feel like an interesting enough environment to play in anymore.
