A mod will be released in 2007 for starcraft brood war, the entire game is completely redone using the warcraft 3 engine, hopefully blizzard wont shut them down before it comes out. Since it is a mod, you will need starcraft and warcraft to run it. Gentlemen i give you Project revolution.

This is actually really cool. If I still had a legit copy of Starcraft, I'd get it. I only want to play Starcraft and Warcraft on Battle.net though. So that's why I need legit.

I don't see anything sad about it. If some guys someday didn't make the Doomsday engine, I would still be stuck with the good old shooters all on DoxBox (any Doom fans here?). I'm thankful to guys like these that update games. I think it even looks a bit better than Warcraft.

I'd buy it if it came out with better graphics. Starcraft was an awsome game!

It needs Frozen Throne, though. I have RoC but not the Throne, I wonder if I can get past that...

I don't know much about mods or computers for that matter. So why does it require both games to work? Or how does it work basically?

it uses some of the audio files from starcraft so you need to run that disk off for it to attain those files. and it uses the warcraft 3 engine so it needs that disk.

It's funny how it was planned for release in 2007 and it is 2008 with no release. There is no point, Starcraft II will be out before this.
