Like the title says, everytime I install a new game on steam, I have to go through the (Usually long) step of installing Microsoft's .Net framework. EVERY TIME.
I just had to do it with Skyrim, which is annoying, cause I just installed it when I installed Cthulhu saves the World a few days ago.
MS does NOT update this stupid thing so often.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get it to STOP doing this? Or maybe set it to auto install so I don't have to wait that extra time (for the record, it took much longer to "install" the .Net framework than it did Skyrim, or even Cthulhu).
Very likely Steam needs that version of the .NET framework to run.
EDIT: I should read your whole post first, haha.
Likely each game you install needs the version of .NET Framework that is was built using. If I look at my installed programs, I've probably got at least a dozen different versions of the .NET Framework installed.
