Hey guys, I was just wondering what Hellgate: London is like to those of you who have played it.
It seemed like a good game when I read things about it I've just never bought it but now I'm making some good moolah I want to buy a game soon and I might buy Borderlands or Hellgate and I need to know what users think of Hellgate.
Could some of you maybe give me some pros and cons?
I like the idea of many weapons with crazy different mods and both Borderlands and Hellgate seem to fit in that.

I'll be damned if I have to climb another tree. From now on the Squirrels and Birds can come to me.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
It had MASSIVE potential and certainly isn't a "horrible" game, but was drug down by a few things.
1) It needs more tile sets and structure. Act's never really felt separate like they did in Diablo II, it all felt to cluttered and repetitive.
2) BUGGY as hell. Everyone expected this among other things to be fixed in the final version, but more or less, the beta was the final version.
With those two things honestly being the killer for me, there is others such as the fact that you had to pay money for anything. It is not an MMO and shouldnt have been advertised like it was. If the game wasnt hyped up as Diablo II's succesor (before D III was revealed), and I just noticed it and picked it up on a console or something, I might have thought its prett decent, but it was in turn a massive let down.

Well, I won't say it wasn't original. Just not implemented well. And demo's are supposed to look good...
