damn, i was thinking of giving LOTRO a try some time, but if it is very similar to WOW i might have to give it a miss.
And that is sad you cant join us, I would try sorcerers.net, i do have friends there, but id rather adventure around with people from this site.
another time then prehaps.

I might be going to the mall today, we don't have an EBGames(damn gamestop) but maybe gamestop will have it, idk if any of you still want to do this, but i've always wanted BG2 eversince i heard of it.
but i think places like eBay and amazon.com might have one or two copies of the game/s too.

MSN t3nacious_d@hotmail.com
AIM elfenlied666
IMVU elfenlied666
Skype alexanderthepaladin
you should be able to get me on one if not two of those. (most likely MSN or AIM)
sorry if the amount of mods sees daughting or off putting, but i do actually have games that i play that use most if not all of the mods at the same time, its easier for any wishing to join me for a game to mod up that it is for me to unistall/reinstall the mods just so we can get to the same game. yes i do infact still play this game, but i do play LOD more.

hmm after some lengthy discussions with some people more experienced with this game, apparently only the host needs to be modded up, this definitely saves on time, everyone gets the game and those who are familiar with modding mod up, as those not familiar just come along for the ride.
unfortunately due to my slow connection i cant host the game, loading the cinematics and cut scenes takes too long if i host the game, but if someone else mod-literate and with a fast connection hosts the game, then we can all join your game and well play the mods for free, lol.
we will still all need to make sure we have the same patch installed though, and be using Hamachi.

yeah most definately. it was quite a headache downloading all those different mods haha.
man i wish i had more time so i could play with you dude but my schedule is hectic, and like i told you im involved with WoW. i wish you luck though. maybe sometime we can get down on IWD2.
wish they (people at sorcerers.net) had told me that eariler, they said there would be issues with not having the same mods, I was playing with Mobbin had he had different stuff installed and it worked fine, no crashes, the only issue was the bit he installed was so much of a tactical change our begining characters got ground into dirt before we even knew what was happening.

Hey guys... I'm really interested in doing an online game... been playing single player for the past week or so.. just think it would be awesome to focus on a single character in a game, rather than manage all six at once.. can be hectic in the game sometimes lol
Anyway, I asked some people from another forum about whether they would be interested in a game.. i hope i get some positive relies over there.. As I understand there are a few here interested... so maybe we can get something going soon (even tho these posts are quite old, im still hoping lol)
Well if I recall, there is me, you, Requeim, Stormcat when her downloaded copy finishes or ordered copy arrives, Winston also seemed fairly keen so long as everyone else turns up, so that makes 5. 5 out of 6. Assuming no one drops out and there are no scheduling conflicts, that just leaves one more person to find.

Hopefully my schedule frees up a bit, I will need to explain the game to you, should take too long.

so i went to the links you told me and i tried the first two files. checked them out they look good. when i try to download it brings up that stupid open with or save to disk screen. i dont have a disk large enough for the game and i have no idea what to open with.
oh i thought it ment save to a disk in your disk drive. thanks for clearing it up a bit. ill probably be saying something in the near future about it saying load cd1-5 or something. alot of comments about that.
