Unfortunately I've never played any of the Fallout games. I hear they're quite good too. And I was hoping to play the original ones before the third one came out.
Hehe. Doppel, I remember you discussing this topic vehemently once. I wish they had Fallout on Gametap or something.
lol, I'm using Gametap now after you mentioned awhile ago. There aren't many good free games. Decent ones I saw/played were only Commandos 3 and umm... well the RPG one I forget. Oya, Joan game or something. I asked my mom if she could get me gold membership... supposedly she's over her credit card limit

Yeah, most of the free games are really old arcade games and vga/svga games. I also haven't upgraded to a gold account yet. I'm kind of waiting for some other games to pique my interest first.
Well they have lots of Tom Clany stuff and they have Flatout 1, and and two hitman games. Plus 3 Serious Sam games Plus over 950 games more I'm sure you could find tuns of awesome ones to play.

I want this game a lot now... Not because I'm a fan of Fallout... But becasue it sounds like... cool, hopefully it will be kinda like Bioshock or HL, or SS2...
I haven't read much, but that's what I'm hoping for...
I played the original for a few hours after hearing such great stuff about it. Didn't really like the combat system and I found there to be a lot of pointless wondering around before finding someone to give you something to do. Maybe I should have given it more time, I still have it and might have another stab at it one day.
Fallout was supposed to be turn-based and top-down... Fallout 3 is first-person and real-time... These guys are just making their own new game here. I guess another Oblivion in a post-apocalypse world wouldn't be too bad, but if someone wants Fallout they probably have more luck playing Silent Storm lol
I really enjoyed Oblivion. It wasn't perfect, but I still enjoyed many hours of it.
I'm really looking forward to Fallout 3, Bethesda seem to be a more than capable group of developers and if a few fanboys are upset due to change then it really doesn't bother me in the slightest.
Oh, it's finally coming?

Fallout will be more like Oblivion if anything.
Using the same engine. And Bethesda didnt start it, they "Resurrected".
Maybe I'm wrong, maybe Beth will stay true to the originals, they claim they will.
But then again almost every remake, or adaptation of anything made is always said to "Stay true to the original"
It will be good probably.
