I am looking for good dark music such as SOME of disturbed (the darkness and haunted) and evanescence (lacrymosa and other songs). Even those songs aren't 100% what im looking for. I mean they have elements of a dark, gothic, eerie sound. I want music that sounds like it could be in diablo and castlevania lol. I just cant seem to find good stuff like that,
haha what do you mean what? I was just wondering if any of them were satanic or anti christ style music. I am quite the lyric loving guy and i dont like listening to music like that. But as i said thank you and i will be listenign to them.
You can't get dark music with a lot of Jesus loving lyrics. 95% of Black Metal is dark, and 80% of their lyrics aren't exactly religion friendly. Opeth don't have Satanic lyrics or anything, though.
It's not like Opeth and the other bands listed though.
I don't like bands where they don't actually sing(scream instead), so I can't give you an opinion on what may be considered dark.
I am not sure how the lyrics are. They do have a song titled lucifer though, I won't ever be listening to it, but the three songs I have listened to I believe are not satanic.

haha, I am not someone that only listens to christian music or anything, but if the band or singer is blatantly going against my beliefs i have a hard time enjoying the music.
Go to Pandora.com and type in whatever you have found yourself enjoying so far. Songs will be picked for you based on musical/audio qualities, which is what you seem to be looking for.
Also try Grooveshark.com, it's a little newer and different.
I dont know anything especially dark but Mr krinkle from Primus is pretty creepy. have a look on youtube or something if u want... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtrmbfS_Vuc
Music Doesn't get much Darker than "Battle of Mice"
Chances are you wont like em but it's worth a shot.
Also try Mournful Congregation, they're pretty amazing
Opeth are absolutely amazing, some of the most talented musicians I've ever had the good luck of encountering. I would recommend them to anybody. For a good "dark" album, try "Still Life" or "Blackwater Park".
Daylight Dies are also excellent. "Dismantling Devotion" is particularly good. Another great album is Insomnium's "Above the Weeping World".
All the above bands feature "growly" death-metal style vocals, which may not be your cup of tea (although I urge you to give them a chance anyway, especially Opeth - Mikael Akerfeldt also does amazing clean vocals). For what it's worth, I'm picky with the growling I'll tolerate, and all the above bands feature very palatable growling.
For somewhat softer, more atmospheric dark music, you might try Agalloch's "The Mantle". Or, since we're on the Diablofans boards, I'd be remiss not to recommend everything by Matt Uelmen, especially the D2 soundtrack. But you probably knew that already.
I also have a soft spot for female-fronted symphonic metal. In that vein, check out "The Silent Force" by Within Temptation, "The Divine Conspiracy" by Epica, and "Dark Passion Play" by Nightwish. The latter really strikes me as something you might enjoy, from what you mentioned your first post.
There are lots of other amazing bands out there, these are just the tip of the iceberg, but this post is already too long. Hope you find something you like!
Bleak, The Drapery Falls..such shit..Opeth and stuff.
