After watching the crowd at Blizzcon, I honestly don't think they deserve any concerts or performances from any famous people/singers. Seeing the sadness in ozzy's face when the crowd didn't know any of the songs really pissed me off. I feel bad for him and wouldn't blame him if he retired after that concert.
I agree with you =/ I watched the show VIA the direct feed and I really do feel sorry for him he was trying so hard to get the crowd a into the show by getting them to cheer, sing along etc and only the front few got into it, they were the only real fans of Ozzy
i couldn't even fucking see him.... it was horrible all i saw was a spec of him they didn't even put him up on the screens untill like his last songs so you couldn't even see him
I could see why the vibe was less fun than shows past.
Some people must have paid scalpers big money for tickets, and each franchise had something to bitch about: WoW, opting to just redo newbie zones and sell easily unlockable stuff as an 'expansion' (not to disparage the amount of work necessary to make azeroth flyable, but for the kind of hardcore WoW nerd likely to be there, a bummer they didn't get promises of dozens of new raids), SC2, no LAN, no internet access, sorry charlie, D3, sorry, not until 2011... and here's a new monster! Also, no cool extras like a concert with genuine Blizzard-themed music... instead a fairly generic show from a sixty year old.
He probably sounded better live than via stream. I watched it on youtube and the voice left something to be desired, though.
That crowd is a bunch of pussies.. I bet even if they booked a big-name electronic artist like Deadmau5 they would still have stood there like idiots. NERDS, LEARN TO DANCE/SOCIALIZE!
I have to say im pretty nerdy myself as some would say (i prefer geek, really) but im one of the first people to rock out at a party, just blame it on the alchohol later if anyone gushes over your partying >.>
his name is Ozzy
and if the crowd new what to do at a concert then Ozzy would have been pumped and would have put on a killer performance.
Lol, I know exactly who he is, War Pigs is one of my favorite songs ever. But he is 60, and this was his first show without Zak Wylde or the Alice in Chains guy in the Randy Rhoads spot in a decade (can you say "pick-up band"). Instead we got Ozzy with a squirt gun, some totally new guy on guitar, and horrible audio when some random 9-year old guested on 'Crazy Train' (or was that Tommy Tallarico ). Kind of a by-the-numbers performance for a by-the-numbers Blizzcon.

they probably know his songs but don't know what the hell he was singing.
he should have retired years ago, it is just sad looking at/hearing him now
