I seriously thought the lion was going to eat him when he was running towards him.
New wanted pet = lion
I think deep down inside everyone wanted to see it happen just a little bit.
IF it did...my my..how funny of a life lesson that would be...50's narrative voice over- "Kids, this is why we keep our only loins we have....in the zoo. Do not feed or pet them. And remember kids, they want to maul your faces off just like this man".
But I'm glad he recognized them, that is a touching story for sure.

That whole documentary thing was on last night. Christian is amazing at how much emotion he shows. There was an earlier scene when Christian was hiding behind his human friends because there was another big scary lion nearby on the other side of a fence (or something, I didn't see it, my mum told me about it).
Oh, there's more to that 'wife' part iin the doco. The documentary said that there were two lionesses nearby (Christian was pimping them) who saw how Christian treated the humans, and so they did the same. They said it was amazing that these lionesses were trying to 'snuggle' against them and they had never met them before.
this was like the leading "viral video" like 8 months ago.. they even interviewed the two guys on talk shows and for articles.
but yea i love it... and it can still make me cry.
if anyone has seen the movie born free i think it was based on this story
edit: oh this is a different version
the one i watched was a whitney houston song background this
i like it better probably cause that's the first one i saw

they'll never see me coming.. life is a sequence of tragedies, inconsistent only by fleeting, elusive moments of pleasure,
serving only to ensure absolute vulnerability to the pain of their inevitable absence.
******Do not watch this if you are sensitive to animal cruelty or death/violence PLEASE.******
It shows a helpless, healthy Lion, being MURDERED by some assholes with small genitals in a "legal" safari hunt. I'm not kidding, don't watch this if you like animals, this is some sick and cowardly shit right here.
This video made me so angry I punched the wall.... I hope these "people" get what is coming to them, sooner than later.
