First of all yes i understand the insurance is expensive you don't need to tell me that. Secondly no I am not paying for it but I am also not dreaming. My parents are buying it for me. I do not know why, I never asked for it, they say its because my sister got a job and they dont have to keep paying her lease but w/e I really do not understand why. I understand I am being spoiled but you should see my school, there are 5 chargers, 3 mustang gts, several bmw's , at least one hummer and a bunch of other more expensive cars. This is just of the students alone. Also the car I get will not leased. It will be bought and i will be keeping it through college. Also I'm getting the lowest model available only because I am trying to keep the price down for my parents. My dad keeps showing me bmw's and other cars that are way above what the challenger I am getting will be and I keep telling him no.

I'm not sure you understand how the car industry works.
Either way, you think you are only going to go two miles per day, but that will change as soon as you get a nice vehicle to drive.
I completely agree. I prefer sleek and modern over old and noisy, maybe that's just me though.
I want my car like a stealth ninja, not a beer drinking muscle bound viking.
Although vikings are nice and all as well

So you'd choose a Prius over say..a Mustang? Lol, girl.
Ok, omit the word stealth, and replace it with lethal. And fast. Like a Koenigsegg.

But we make nice cars in Europe
Well, except for Saab. You don't have to get that.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.

Yes I would. Gas mileage, available space. The fact there is a back seat. All makes it a better choice to me, and I'd get to save a little money. I don't understand the over fascination with fast cars. You could drive a rocket car, you still have to go 55mph like everyone else.
My dad would be killing me for posting this, he has a Mustang Bullitt.
Anyway yes, nowadays I think gas mileage is a important thing to consider. It never hurts to save money. Sure your car might not be as "cool" but you'll have plenty of cash to buy other stuff with, or even customize your car a little if you're into that.
well ok, european cars arent bad but i still will get american before it
Also i don't really pay for gas and even if i did, i can afford it, i have a job that pays well enough to cover the cost of gas and more.
I understand where you are coming from completely daemaro. I'm getting the v6 because i don't need more than that. I live in the suburbs and the max mph is around 40 - 50. I even looked at cars. A shelby 500gt is impractical for day to day travel. Unless you're going to be street racing daily then its not worth it. Basically this is how i see it, im getting a higher end dodge charger that looks better. Im not getting the 50,000 dollar car, the one im getting is 27. Its really not as bad as you guys think.
Also by foreign i mean asian mainly, like Honda.

Make sure you look at the cars in person and test drive them before you sign the papers. IMO, the Camaro is the better looking of the cars in person. The Challenger's lines are too high. The visibility with the short windows is about the same as an H3. The Challenger drives fairly nice, although it feels sluggish and heavy, very 1970's tech feeling. I haven't driven the Camaro yet, but using the CTS-V and the G8 GXP as standards, I would say the Camaro will be the better driving of the two. The CTS uses the same base model engine, while the SS Camaro uses the Corvette/G8 GXP LS3, which has incredible power. Don't overlook the base Camaro, it uses the 306hp v6 that the CTS uses, and just exhaust and a tune will net you nearly 80whp. Pretty friggin incredible gains for the dollar. From the factory, it is already faster than the Mustang GT. The G8 GXP uses very similar suspension as the Camaro, and G8 GXP drives like an M3 but tighter and with more balls.
Personally, the Camaro is a better choice, but whatever fits you more snug, and drives in your style should be the deciding factor.
Also remember, the Camaro has 2 more years of testing than the Challenger, which is basically a shorter and slightly (negligible) lighter Charger. Oh, and just so you know, that color package is only available on the Camaro with the RS package, and will end up around 32K total.
Also, take a look at the new Hyundai Genesis. Similar in all aspects to the base Camaro.

I still believe the sweetest car ever is a '71 'cuda AAR series.
My second favorite musclecar in existance.
My first is a 1969 Pontiac GTO Ram Air VII. 650 whp 700wtq, friggin rediculous power. Although if you get technical, those were never made by the factory and only dealer installed engines in Ram Air IV cars. If its a factory car, 69 GTO Ram Air V, Royal Bobcat of course. You can't beat 500whp with the looks of the Goat, and that sweet paintjob. Although I would have got it in Red and Black instead of Crystal Blue turquoise and white.
I understand that its not built in the US, most cars aren't im not completely retarded. But i would much rather buy a car from an American Automotive Company. And this isn't my first car.
I have test driven both. The problem with the camaro is that i barely fit. Ive got about an inch of clearance in the front seat and the back seat was impossible to sit in. Both cars have a nice feel though. I didn't get the whole big car vibe. Most likely because I'm driving an Envoy now and im used to it.
And just so you know also, because you mentioned, that is a false statement on the rs. The rs only gives you black rims and the halo around the lights. It doesn't affect racing stripes what so ever.
I did look at the g8 and yes it is very similar to the camaro, they are basically the same car. However, my sisters have had a grand prix, g4 and g6 and i was never impressed by any of them. Hence why I'm very hesistant to go with it.
GTO's are sick. My uncle used to have a really old one
Also Im not looking for the fastest car out there. Im not really worried about horsepower as long as its not ridiculously low. Im more worried about a car that will hold up and take me through college.

No it doesn't. GM is the worst of the big three with their only redeeming factor being the 3800 series motor.
Just to clear this up as I'm still not 100% sure you understand the industry, US based automotive companies (GM, Chrysler, Ford) employ many foreigners while foreign based companies (Honda, Toyota, Hyundai) employ many Americans. Buying a Honda, a much better vehicle, is actually supporting the US economy, where as buying a Dodge or GM vehicle is supporting foreign economies. Truth is, people have all the facts backwards and because of this thing where people just believe what they are told to believe, very few ever actually get set straight. Hopefully, it's not too late for you.
My dad works for a company that sells copper, brass, and other metals to GM, Ford, and Chrysler. His business is hurting due to the fall of the Big 3. By buying a Dodge, I am in fact helping my dad's business. Also I get a supplier discount on the car.
waaaaay too much money pjanoo.

dude the challenger is my pick... its got a 5.7 liter engine bored out to a 6.1 liter and can do a 1/4 mile in less than 14 seconds... 0-60 in about 5... and its dodge... my dad had a dakota pickup from 1994-2004 then another from 2003-2008 and never had a major problem with either one... idk im also a little biased cuz i got to test drive the charger and fell in love haha... can never afford it but its such a horse when your behind the wheel...
