Going back to the topic Jeru. We had a little meeting where they told us what we could not do. Most of us just want to get our diplomas and leave, but they want to have a long service, and it is just pointless.

im not complaining! is that ---> complaining? complaining could be ---> : (
He says the teachers are fucked up. Most teachers I saw were great, even in the bad academic emergency hyper-poor schools, there was always a good teacher or two. You guys just have no respect for authority, and all you can do is call them "old jocks", you yourself having accomplished nothing but scraped up a document that proves you sat 10 years in an institution where you have learned nothing.
No, he means teachers and administration of a school. Don't you see how he's obsessed with football?
I wasn't referring to him, but Jeru.
Maybe I read wrong, but I thought Jeru said it first.
I'm quite obsessed with football as well, since I've played it every year since I was six. I would have a WVU football ava/sig, but I'd rather have a zoidberg/diablo one for this site. =P
I am talking about the Jocks who take the game for granted. Unlike me. I play the game, because it is really fun. And. If you went to my school you would say the same thing. They are stupid.

I think I know what you mean. More specifically, in my case, idiots who have nothing BUT football. They're complete and utter jackasses in school, and don't do any work.

They supported each other. Jocks are people who play games like those games are the only thing in the world, and everyone who plays another sport is a wuss. Stonebreaker is one of them, he thinks tennis players are wusses, so it would kinda make sense to refer to different jocks. The other definition is old people past 40.
- you play a sport, that's nothing bad but it is required for the term "jock";
- you like injuries, you think college football is boring due to lack of injuries. I think that's very stupid;
- you did say that tennis is a girly sport in a PM to me, or you don't think so anymore or something?

Well, I wouldn't exactly call Tennis players tough, since it isn't exactly the most demanding sport in the world. I'm not calling them wusses or anything, but it's not like they're badasses of the third degree.
I guess I am guilty of that in a way, because whenever I watch a soccer match, and see a player trip and fall down and then roll around in "pain" for a couple minutes, it really irks me. They bring about the "sissy" remarks on themselves with that crap. They are, however, the most conditioned athletes of any sport.
Oh yeah: College Football >>>>>>>>>>>>>> NFL Football.

I never said Tennis was a girly sport. I said that I play it with my friends whenever they ask me to. I said I do not like college football, because it never sparked an interest with me. I never said I like to injure people either. You just make up crap about people, and TRY to use it against them.

Every sport is equally demanding, if you think otherwise, you just don't know anything about other sports. Sport demand is mostly defined by the popularity of the given sport in the given country. In US, football is most popular, so coaches tend to stress it more (and make students take steroids, or is that a good thing?!). In Europe, soccer is stronger. But the sports themselves are all even and all require you to max out. Otherwise, I ask that you join the tennis team and beat the champion of tennis.

Sports are not going to make anyone a badass, no matter what sport it is, no matter how good they are. I just don't value sports people that much. They bring nothing to society. I view sports as a fun way to keep in shape, nothing more. If it turns into a profession, I begin to despise it.

Irks you? Makes you happy? I don't think I understand why you feel guilty.
I hate injuries in sports. I like sports when they are pure sports. Injuries are so random and luck-based, they are what makes me hate all professional sports...
You did. I don't know perhaps you said it in the form of another stupid joke, but that's what you said, and if I still had that old PM I'd quote it to you.

Yes, but in addition to that, you said the sport is girly.

You said "too few injuries". Do I seriously have to go dig up an old thread and quote you or you can just stop backtracking and lying?

Neither does my last post says anything about you injuring anyone. It talks about you approving of injuries.

The most I can do is misunderstand a joke since none of you people are able to say a word without making a joke out of it.
