You clearly don't know shit. When starting a running or biking regiment, you slowly build up to a desired point. You don't go out the first day and say I'm running 5 miles no matter what.
That's stupid shit and I don't advise you to be giving out shitty advice.
If you feel pain while running, stop. Rest until it goes away, and then run that SAME amount again. If you don't feel pain, good. If you do, stop and rest. Repeat until there is no pain for that distance. Slowly increase how far you run each time if no pain is present. Note that by rest, I mean over night, or a couple days, not a couple hours.
Listening to someone who just started exercising for the first time in her life is a bad idea.
Man, take a break from the forums, come back with some new and improved shit, you seem to get dumber every time you post...
everyone has their own methods that work for them so no need to fight. But yea from my experience i would say that you really have to push yourself to get better at running for example. It shouldnt really hurt (perhaps your feet) but you should feel exhausted. And while running up hills you should feel burning. generally though if you can barely walk its time to stop and rest. no sense in hurting yourself and then being further back then when you started.
people categorize pain differently so just be sure that pain is pain.

No, this is Equinox and Goodguy, you are powerless to stop them. The best you can do is take cover.

It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
Yeah I just started golfing recently and love it, alot of strategy. And well ive been skating and playing soccer forever it seems.
As for this whole running thing, i think pushing yourself is the only way, if it hurts then stop but if its just you feeling exhausted try to push yourself. That's what we do in soccer conditioning, of course like goodguy said take breaks, but if you not hurting then just take a water break and a breather. Then just go back to whatever your doing, but have an idea of a schedule i mean you dont want to run 10 hours straight with just some water breaks. O, and burn is good, sure it doesnt feel good but that's how you build muscles. I would classify pain in this kind of stuff as like twisting your ankle, then just keep running, which is BAD.
perhaps consider orthodix (spelling) and different running shoes. Also be sure not to run down hills. Try running up hills, that should take the load of your knees somewhat. also when you run be sure not to run with your heels touching first, that is incredibly bad for your knees.
I've played tennis and been swimming for along itme in my life until, well, one and a half year ago when I basically stoppped. I'm not fat, but I have lost a lot of what endurance I had, and I wasn't particularly fit before either.
Which reminds me, I need to start excersising again.

From what I understand, (And excluding the bullshit alot of these fitness centers and fitness videos shove down your throat to make another buck) everyone has a certain plateau that they can reach, and some people are naturally fat/skinny/fit. But I am not completely certain about that.
For a very small amount of people there is little they can do. For most however, it's about their diet. If you want to slim down, you have to eat right. Excercise is useless when it comes to losing weight. It's great for you mentally and for your health in general, but do not start running and expect the pounds to drop.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

Actually, at the risk of sounding pedantic, neither one will do much good on its own.
You can eat really well, and it will have some effect, but if you do nothing to increase your activity level above your normal practices, you'll get lackluster results in terms of improved body composition.
And the same thing applies to exercise without a sound diet.
To get decent results, you need both a good diet and exercise program. Improving your body composition depends on their synergistic effect.

It's much worse. If you are obese, your metabolism is broken for the rest of your life. If you want to be even moderately fit afterwards, you have to torture yourself your whole life.
Don't go to McDonalds in your teens just because your organism seems to be fine with it. It's not fine with it at all.
