which is why runners cant run 10km in under 20 minutes.. all the best runners come in at around 25minutes
anyways speaking of running, i just kicked a soccer ball against a wall for an hour then went for a 1km run. im badly out of shape and i need to loose some body fat, i need to get down to 5% im close but not there. Also for Muay Thai kickboxing i need conditioning. So i have to start somewhere and 1km is where ill start
from now on ill run 4 times a week, all the days i dont have muay thai (which is 3 times a week)
ahhh i hope this works out. I love feeling in shape, i feel like i can take on the world. and for kickboxing especially you need endurance
if anyone is interested to see what muay thai looks like, this is one of my favorite fighters, and its a great video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=M3R4xtjl5b4

I saw a video of that sport but in Thailand. It's completely different then it is in the Western World. They just recently outlawed having ropes wrapped around your hands to rip at your enemies skin. It's much uglier and dirtier. The Western world has made it ALOT more civilized.
lol in Thailand they wear gloves... its just in the OLD old times like 1000 years ago that they used hemp ropes wrapped around their hands. Everyone who fights muay thai uses gloves no matter where you are.
Muay Thai looks gay... both the guys have muscles... I am more for the other martial arts where you don't need to be a bull to be effective.
they are skinny and yet powerful. I think the only martial art where you dont have to be that strong is Brazilian Jujitsu however everyone who competes is quite built

Nope. Not in the smaller villages. It can get pretty brutal in those smaller villages that fight like they did way back when. (Though like I said the ropes were made illegal, because of the high death rate attributed to it.)
ah ic, yes thats a good point. I understand what you are saying but in the end there is only so much you can do. I cant really explain it in words for some reason. Like it does work in some cases but it isnt always like in the movies with jackie chan and such.
Using any technique that works, never to limit yourself to one style, to keep an open mind, that is the way to go.
Well, I just knew some people personally, and I always have something for people that are thin and humble-looking but can make a giant hole in a wall lol...
I don't particulary have anything against certain styles, but I do hate it when it is used:
a) to hurt and humiliate others;
for public entertainment.
For me, it's a philosophy of self-defence. When it gets outside of that, I get disinterested.
hmm, yes i understand what you mean and i respect that
UGH i want to be the best, i want to fight muay thai for my job... school is going downhill for me right now. i need to get out. Its better i live and try and fail rather than just die... i want it so badly, everyday now im going to train Muay Thai. I have the eye of the tiger back again, and i hope it will lead me to victory.

"The most tragic thing about religion is that evangelical people who have such a degree of blind faith, who do and believe terrible things because they are sold as the will of God. Unfortunately this is almost half of America and leads to such things as electing George Bush, twice..."

I haven't, but it looks so freaking fun! I love the sound it makes too.
Yes, I have pyro tendencies. But most people do.
