well i just wanted to start this topic to see what other people are doing to keep in shape, and to talk about what people who don't exercise enough can do to get in great shape- like eating healthy, exercise routines, and sleep.
anyways i used to play soccer for many years. but due to some injuries i stopped and havent really got back into it. Though i love the sport with all my heart. However a few months back i picked up Muay Thai kickboxing. i absolutely love it, its just something i fell in love with. it fits me perfectly, the style everything. if anyone has any questions about it ill be happy to answer
aside from that i used to run quite a bit but then sort of stopped with my soccer injuries and have really gotten out of shape. my goal was to run 10k in under 35 minutes but i havent been training because it seems iv lost my will in that area. I also weight trained for a few years but i dont like where that road was taking me (lots of pressure to take steroids, testosterone, and creatine which i did end up taking. I also take protein which is fine) but i stopped after i joined Muay thai because i realized that to be a deadly weapon you dont need to look like jean claude van damn in his prime (though i would like to haha). Also i learned that the top heavy weight mma fighter in the world right now, Fedor Emelianenko doesnt even weight train. he runs 10k per day and does basically rocky stuff like hitting the ground with hammers etc..
anyways that basically sums it up for me. I have a pretty good knowledge of the body and what it needs so any questions feel free to ask
anyways ya so just post away about anything fitness related. Sports, fighting, sleeping, nutrition etc...
I've been a bit of a fat hump lately. But as it gets warmer, I golf and hike a lot. I do pushups when I'm working cause I'm all alone in the operator room.
hahahahahhahahahhaahahaha m8 that made me laugh hahahahha o man.... lol
ya i actually clicked so much i got tendonitis in my right wrist/forearm and iv had it for some time. I had to go to physiotherapy and my doctor a few times but thankfully it is a bit better.
I don't drink any type of carbonated drink, diet drinks included. Diet sodas and regular sodas both cause the same problems, so switching from regular to diet will have no benefit and can even cause you to gain weight. I drink only water and tea, usually unsweetened as it's the best drink for you.
As for working out, I don't get around to it much. I'd like to bike 65-75 miles per week though.
As for food, I try not to eat fast food and I avoid food high in sugars as much as possible.

So you're the one everyone loves right?
And on topic, I go work out at the gym, I lift weights, jog 3 miles on the treadmill, etc.
Once in a while, I'll eat something unhealthy like a Red Baron Pizza, but normally, I eat only organic and healthy food.

Federer lost Wimbledon. Why? Becase none of you bastards cheered for him...
I'm fat, although sometimes I go for a run at midnight, but not too much. I really want to get in shape, but I'm ostracized either way. Not in the way of having friends per say, most of the time people think I'm their friend and talk to me when I don't want to talk to them...
Most people have. I'm popular like that. I'm not going to tell you that what people are saying are lies, but I must warn you, about 80% of the people that don't like me don't comprehend what I write, or are living in a little fairy tale world of their own.
I joined the cross-country team, and they start sub-official summer running since May 27th, so I don't really have a choice whether to watch myself or not... At least I'll drink more water, my water habits are horrible.
I am pretty bad at keeping shape, usually I am more into studying/reading/computer than going outside or the gym. I hardly eat anything at all, I weigh 102.8 pounds, lol...

Its all about attitude to keep in shape. personally i sprint for my highschool team n stuff so its not a real big issue for me to stay in shape year round but. REALLY for those who dont, i think..actually, i KNOW the tuffest thing will be the attitude. REALLY its everything, if you take a healthy approach to life then u eventually naturally ween urself off all those gross carbonated drinks, u start to dislike all those disgusting foods tht will give you a heart attack and you become disciplined. You cant just say "oh ill work out 3 times a week whenever i want" you simply cant, your human and you will find a way to not do it. so oyu need a VERY strict schedule, and once u get past like those first 2 weeks u will be able to keep that routine. never break it or its all over. And especially for ppl without any training tht want to get into shape, ur best bet will by FAR be to get a personal trainer, because i consider myself aq very disciplined athlete and its VERY VERY VERY hard to motivate yourself on your own. i had the hardest time trying to train myself and after a bit im finally able to. so for someone without tht discipline an instructor or motivator is needed. if your serious about it then you should write down your schedule very precisely and eventually narrow your food choices. For instance. This summer i will have a life tht consists of this: wake up at 5 and run to the track ,do a sprint workout, run back, hit the weights(im being vague) then play wow or d2 till around 6 o clock wen it gets cool again and repeat it and do so everyday. But thts just me. If you wana get into shape REMEMBER its all about the attitude.if you have a stomach hanging over u need to both run and do tons of ab workouts along with hitting weights

I am underweight according to my physician. Not overweight.

I disagree with the strictness. I always found strict schedules made me want to drop the whole thing all together. Besides, there are way too many days when I have more important things to do (school, and dentists totally knock me out).
My main tool is reframing... e.g., I try to make the stuff that annoys me in training into good stuff. Usually, though, I have little reason to train: my body complexion is fine, my health is good. I am not enduring, but I don't need to be. Not hot, but don't need to be. I got a new motivational factor recently, and now I am in a sport, so I am good for the time being. But if I am not in a sport, and if I have no reason to exercise, I probably won't, lol. Unless it becomes a habit, but I doubt that.
Our current spring XC schedule is supposed to have us run Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Unless I got AP review or something on that day, I always run, despite the fact that it's not mandatory.
The thing that mostly helps me is some kind of friend/pacer to motivate me. The more annoying, the better. But I don't have many friends, and most of them run slower than I do, anyway.

I just started XC. The only sport I played before was lacrosse. Until the age of 16 I have never exercised my entire life. I just have fast metabolism and I eat little.
