I made this thread to see what you guys think about aliens.
i think aliens do exist only because there has to be some other planet
that can have life forms
think about it space is so big we cant be the only liveing things
The Sun is too hot for Venus for lifeforms (I mean if there is some lifeform that can stand it, sure yeh) and is too far for Mars, ditto with Venus, if lifeforms can stand it while that's that. But that may play a factor in no other life forms.
Personally I just believe in anything that's on Earth and that's it. Well, and heaven and hell...

sometimes beginnings aren't so simple, sometimes goodbye's the only way."
You didn't read what I said did you.
You may be right but nothing on Earth could stand the extremes of Venus and Mars, so that makes me think nothing else can because Earth has the majority of organisms.
It'd have to be some whacked out species.

Im not talking about our soler system (sorry for the miss spell)
there has to be another soler system out there with a planet that is
habitable
Correct me if I'm wrong, but we only have one solar system in this world, that carries all the planets... or anything for that matter.
You'd think that if earth has so many damn species and none could survive the extremes of mars and venus, then there is an extremely small chance anything else could.
But like I said, you might be right. But if probability calculations were made... it'd be 0% chance based on the organisms of earth

Well, actually you're the one not understanding what he means.
The Universe is supposed to be infinite, or at least ever-expanding depending on which theory you believe. Taking this into consideration, probability alone would show that chances are there are other sentient beings out there.
In my personal opinion (and by taking in the theory that the universe is infinite, or ever expanding) the notion that we're the only intelligent life forms in the universe is extremely ignorant, or stubborn. I can't decide which word fits better. Probably stubborn.

LOL. Surely you .... no ...
Wait, no matter how you meant that, it's wrong. In our galaxy alone, there's thousands - probabably millions of solar systems. And that's just galaxy out of billions of others.
Alright... do you have anything to back that up? Prove me wrong with facts and I'll be glad to admit I'm wrong.
Provide what facts?
That there's billions of other solar systems out there?
Are you kidding me? Have you ever taken basic science?
You're kidding me, right? Please tell me you're joking.

If you're talking about the aliens part, of course there's no proof. If you don't think there are any, then you don't, that's your view and that's cool.
Ok ,the chances that we are here is basically saying that other life could exist, if we beat odds, why can't other life, millionss of light-years away.

i think they do.
because there has to be more then just one planet in all of space
that can have life.

think about it space is so big we cant be the only liveing things
Why?
You tell me.
Personally I just believe in anything that's on Earth and that's it. Well, and heaven and hell...

The chances of us being here are so infinitismally(sp?) small, the chances of us being the only living things are eqully small.
EDIT: @chaos being an igonrant doofus.

That just leaves my extremes theory. Then again you guys answered that too. Shit a missed a whole page at least. Yeh I've been proven wrong
