i say we just go with Legion. that could be taken for a lot of things, such as:
The ancient greek legions
the ranks of the Imperial Roman Legion (which is what i was going for..ruled for what 200 years?)
Legions of the Undead
i think it gives an image of inummerable, fierce enemies charging from all sides..but thats just me
