I had a harcore guy. Lvl 72 I kept the limits to myself, I levelled before doing quests, lvl 2 before den of evil, 6 before Blood Raven, 9 before Cain, and 13 before entering the inner cloister. Then I'd go back and level up to 17, come back, kill all the monsters and kill Andrariel, stay here and level up to 20, just to be safe for a little more, (yes I know it took a little while.) go to act 2..........etc.
Sounds tough, i never made an hc char, im 2 scared of lag. I dont wanna be lvl 98 and all of a sudden my comp freez, then a bunch of burning souls come and kill me

when i played it was only HC. The thing is even when ur good enough to survive (or fast enough to press save & exit at some points) some stupid reasons like server lag or server disconnects can kill u. I lost move than 10 hardcore characters over 90 this way, most of them pretty well dressed. Anyways, if there werent problems like disconnects and server lag theres nothing better than that!
but you cant help but see the humour in it. people who don't back up their characters all get angry by saying "I worked on that character for months!" and all it took was a little bit of copy and paste and they would have been alright.
Personally my highest hardcore character is around lvl 45 but I don't get to play too much. I don't mind the lag spikes because it is just another risk you take by going hc. I find it fun even.....
i only played HC in the closed battle.net. Technically i couldnt backup
still, even with those lag spikes the game is really intense and requires a maximum concentration to play. Makes u feel great when u see ur hardcore character grow over 80s or 90s
Silver and I are currently playing H/C alot we each have two chars over 50 and both have 3 mules atleast with above average gear .. i say in about a few week or so well be be rich ... and btw it does feel great having a char in the 80's i have a lvl 83 pally right now working or his gear tho ... if any1 is interesting in joining us jusy whisper me in US West Ladder H/C ... acct. easiest mf is done with a sorceress. my main mf was always an orb defensive sorc. Easy kills on Mephi, Andariel, Blood Raven and most smaller unique monsters in the crypts. Easy items. Can get items through trades easier. (If u kill Mephisto and Andariel in less than 2 minutes/run u get more chance for items, especially with around 400% mf )
it will, but most of the drops are either crap or not needed for ur character, so u got to do some more runs doing it that fast (sorc makes it possible without map hacks - teleport rulez) helps improve ur chances
He was a necromancer
p.s. this isnt one of them
hey i can make a sentance
Shit, dam assholes.
