Whew this one was a handful to work on. It took me hours to get the runes spaced out well. I repositioned them at least 10 times. I was getting a headache!
Anyway I could not pass up this epic artwork by Chris Thunig . Sorry for the blurriness, but you can only do so much with a 1024 sized image. Photoshop wasn't cooperating so i used ol' corel for this.
Now then this locations layout is a slightly tweaked version of the last variations from series 3. With this one I made the bars narrower to accommodate the smaller nameplate. Also the runes are in a different order. This time I just wanted to cut the rune-circle in half and put the upper half up top and the bottom half below.
I still love the over all red ting these runes give off. This deep bloody sinister red. About that color there. I was trying to match the runes again with the over all image but they just weren't fitting so well. Like the first wallpaper I used this one to set the tone and the base work. I can modify and change things from here depending on future images.
Also sadly for now because of all the work that went into this layout I won't make a 4:3 size for this wallpaper immediately, but I will make it later in the week when I have some more free time.
Please feel free to let me know what you guys think. Until next time, enjoy!
