Hello everyone. I hope you had a good weekend. This week my plan was to restore and remake lost nameplates and files for my Diablo 3 wallpaper series and FRS iPhone series. These have been successful, and I have made and improved on the nameplates these two series already had.
This week however I chose to break away from my old Corel Photo Paint 8 and try out some more aspects of Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended. All I can say is the d3 wallpaper nameplate, the side designs to that nameplate I reproduced the same bevel and shade effect I did on CPT8 which I had to build from scratch and spray some colors around. I did the bevel effect after 3 crashes of the program from my annoying computer, with the same look and feel in like one tenth the work needed if we ignore the program crashes.
Now with that I decided to use my new tweak of the alchemy in the background. With Photoshop I was able to make it 10x larger with about one hundredth less of the jagged-ness. I was stunned to find the style bevel effect I used made that slightly blurry image a new larger sharper and better alchemy. I think I see somewhat how the blizzard art guys made that alchemy so sharp. After all the Greek/Geek talk I have got everything back and better than before. So expect some more of my works to have some Photoshop elements in them more. Maybe one day I can retire Corel Photo-Paint 8....... nah.
Hope this wall looks simple and clean. I may tweak the alchemy on the next wallpaper as I am experimenting with CS3. The next couple weeks I will be posting some of the d3 wallpaper series walls. I am slowly running out of content to use... please blizz give us some more info besides that awesome UI update.
I...need...material...
