Its really cool to see it go from not beginning to end almost.
Ye especially cause people can see ugly stuff turn better and better (like the baggy pants ;p ). I do still think i need to refine it a bit more tho. Considering uploading it to the artcontest. Why wouldnt i try? Alltho the competition there is sooooo good.
nice, love this from start to end drawing,i wish i can draw,i am so bad at it,i cant even pull straight line properly
thats why you practice and practice! To be honest, im not even happy with the drawing i just made just cause i know what other people can do. it's a blessing and a curse cause eventually ill get better and better, but ill prolly never be as happy about my work as some are with tinfoil wrapped monks.
Also, even tho there is obviously a difference between artists, drawing in photoshop can even be fun for beginners if you get the hang of it. Tons of tutorials online which teach you tools to draw the more easy character (for example donald duck) and videos that teach you how to use layers and shade those. Think there is even a decent freeware drawing program called gimp.
It´s great. I would still work on the face, maybe because I like Blizzards version of female monk. Eyes have too much make up. Keep on working!
Ive never understood why they made monks russian-ish tho. So i made mine asian-ish, like they should be
I get your points tho, i might go over the drawing again soon and try and completely finish it. Can always try a face without makeup. But i dont wanna lose my flat nose! :*(
Ehm, ive never actually 'learned' in the sense of following courses or classes. I pretty much did most of my learning myself. Seeing i go on and off with drawing, sometimes i dont draw for months, sometimes i draw all day every week for a month its hard to actually keep consistant progress going tho. Ive rarely, if never traced anything and always kept things challenging to me. I guess thats where you need to point if you want to get better. If you have doubts about something, then look at how people better than you do stuff like that, learn from them, then use it to compliment your own style without directly copying it.
I kinda developed this style seeing i like the way cartoons/comics/marvel-ish type of drawings are made. Its pretty hard to actually get rid of a style once youre used to it tho, but to be fair. If you can perfect it, you can make some amazing drawings. Some of those comic drawings beat almost anything by far with the amount of energy then can have in them.
