Im not sure if you're done with this piece, but you could do a lot more shading. It looks really good right now. But keep shading, it looks about half done. If you notice the left hand, on his knee, stands out quite a bit. I think you could pull out a lot more detail within the rest of the drawing if you kept shading. Keep up the great work!
and I'm no expert but I do have a passion for drawing.....those are just my opinions! It's your piece!!

Drawing skills are not impossible to acquire. This probably took him a fair bit of time. Good work takes time. The more you draw the better you will become, and the less time it will take to get things the way you want them...So grab a pad and a pencil set, and an eraser (I suggest a kneaded rubber one) and get to it!

Very nice drawing, Anselm. :] Halbu is indeed a cool character. Would be fun to see that guy again in Diablo 3. I would also have liked to see the concept art they did for him. Did they ever post it online?
Would I be correct in guessing that you've been using your finger as a smudge tool? ;] My art teacher would give you stern looks for that, heh. Personally, I prefer not smudging at all, but it can work out well. If you like the smoother look that smudging gives, you could look into getting some blender stumps. They do a better and more precise job than a finger does, in my opinion, and make it easier to keep your hands clean while drawing. No unnecessary finger prints where you accidentally touch the paper. :]
Things are moving along. You lost a bit of detail by inking your sketch. But with ink, that's inevitable to some extended. Although, I would have inked his face with more attention so we could have conserved the great look that he had in the pencil sketch. But it's not dramatic, it's something you can bring back with paint.
One thing I don't understand tough is why you made the shoulder pads so big. They were just the right size i.m.o. Now, they make his torso look displaced. I also think the circles are too big.
On second tought i understand you wanted them to be more imposing, but the angle isn't exactly right, and I still think the circles are too big.
Also, be careful when painting his breastplate. If you'll make paint strokes like you did in your inking it will look curved in the wrong direction. Check your sketch for reference, it was good.
Also, I don't know what paint will you use or will you do it digitally, but those metallic reflections you made on the legs as well as his pants should look great if you let them show trough the paint.
I marked the rest in my paintover.
Overall, it's a fair inking. It should look good under paint imo. Just out of curiosity, what will you use?
EDIT: I checked your other posts and saw you wanted to use watercolor. That's the good choice imo. But than again I never used watercolor over ink so i can't give you any advice. Regardless, i'm looking forward to see how it will look with colors.
Thanks guys, I haven't any time to touch it up, but I guess I'll, color it one day. I'd love to use photoshop but I've never painted with photoshop, I suck with it. So I'm probably just going to paint it by hand.
Do you mean ink wash? I saw zero pen lines O_o, all of it looked like it was with a brush up close.

Yeah, it had to plausible for me, but I like unrealistic weapons too.
