## D3 damage reduction calculator

• Hello diablofans!

I recently started working on this project to implement browser based damage reduction calculator for D3.

Project is still work in progress as I just started working on it a while ago but it will be evolving rapidly when I find the time to work with it.

• Have u made the sum of the resistance damage reduction and the armor damage reduction? Because 84.20% for 3000 armor and 400 resistance from a level 60 Monk vs a lvl 63 monster (Act3/4) seems wrong.
• I checked the formula and did manual calculation with given stats: reduction vs 63 lvl mobs is 84.2043%

Armor: 48.8% reduction
Resist 55.9% reduction
Meleespecial for monk / barbarian: 30%
-> 1-((1-0.488)*(1-0.559)*(1-0.3)) = 84.2%
• It would be nice if it could give armor & resists seperate but still nice job in working it out.

I might add that in near future
• v0.5 is out
• You could also add %hp modifiers, since they will effect the worth of vitality (and EHP).

It's the next feature on "TO DO"-list
• btw this is very nice, been looking at it since you posted it in premium
• need blooooooock
• Been busy lately but finally had few minutes spare and implemented Life %

Block will be next (can't include it into effective hp as the calculations are quite situational / dynamic but I will implement some sort of block rating value so u can compare shields...)
