In religious scriptures and other similar text, fire can be a tool of heaven and divine beings, like angels, which is of more of a purifying essence than a burning one....doesn't have to be of something with a malevelont nature.
Plus, I remember about the Fiery Angel you're talking about that the wings only appeared to be on fire because of how the energy of them was flailing.
Very true, i had thought of that before i posted.
And a little after i rememberd reading a post about the fiery winged angel having some concept art so i decided to go searching for it so i could get a better look at it and see if there's any symbolism.
I found a single piece of art on the D3 official sight or...at least something that might look simular and from what i can see it is a pure angel, tho its too early to say if this was the angel spoken of in the books.
Added crap you may answer if you like.
A little known fact here mentioning the Purifying essence of fire as well you might like to know.
Know the phrase, When Hell Freezes over? Well.....if you know your history and reading of a few books can you tell me why this is actually a very possible view of hell.
Hint: Azmodan, the Lord of Sin. I would imagine this guys lair or place he hangs out in as being completley frozen over.
Some works (novels, sci-fi, games and others) mentions that there is a layer of hell that is literally freeze over. Its a ice world of torment if you will. Also that in the bible that God is shown or represented as a burning bush or fire.

Close to it but you didnt quite answer the actual question i had as to why there is a layer of hell frozen over.
The reason for this is and why i think azmodan lair would be frozen is because when you sin per say its supposed to stop you, freeze you in your tracks, or when you witness other deadly sins.
Example: You come home from work and you turn on the TV and you watch the news and you hear about some horrible Murder where a man Murderd his wife or something(Details arent realy important just the sin is) What does this make you do? Well most normal people would be stopped in their tracks and FROZEN in Disbelief or shock if it touched you that much.
I could go on for a while more but i think youl get the point which is Sin's are supposed to freeze you and slow you down, fill you with shock, disbelief, remorse, bla bla bla the list goes on, lets get back on track to my orginal question tho.
Any Detials on the VERY VERY beginning of the War between Heaven and Hell in the Diablo Universe, anyone have these?

If you want reasons, beginning conflict, first battle etc. there are none. The war is a perpetual conflict which is generally assumed to have existed for as long as time itself, with Heaven at one end, most commonly thought to represent order, and Hell on the other end, representing chaos. Broadly speaking that is.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.

Bah that leaves just so many untied knots ><
Ah well, cross yer fingers and pray next year the game comes out and my so many questions are answered in it.
