Belial wouldn't send Azmodan though, they are currently at a state of civil war, fighting over the leadership of Hell. If Azmodan went to Sanctuary, it would be of his own accord, and a costly one at that, giving up the war for Sanctuary which he previously thought completey unworthy (which is why they rebelled against the Prime Evils in the first place). His followers wouldn't like him for wasting their time at a war either. I'm sure there were many casualties. Noone likes to have a war for no reason, especially if its a civil war and when the time and effort could have been better spent against Heaven, their real foe.
Diablo wasn't banished back to hell though, he was banished back to the Black Abyss that spawned him.
What orb does Azmodan destroy? The Compelling Orb? The one that our character already destroyed?
Diablo, Mephisto and Baal can easily overpower Belial. 3 Prime Evils vs 1 Lesser Evil? easy. They were only beating in the first place because they let themselves be beaten - it was part of their plan to get to sanctuary and the worldstone.
There's no 'God' in the Diablo Universe. But, there could still be some sort of powerful Heavenly sword, sure. I like this part with the sword.
But I don't like the end. NOthing is ever safe for all eternity. And Hell can't just be destroyed so easily.
Well, in the Diablo universe, that is to be expected. In every game, you act on the behalf of good by attempting to vanquish evil and restore balance.
Aye, except the only character fighting "on behalf of good" is the Paladin. The other characters are fighting for peace. If heaven was invading, (excluding the Paladin) I can most definitely the heros would be fighting them back as well.
lol, Timberlake, you do realise that the 'news' you just told us was posted on this site? Its like someone telling you something, and then moments later you telling them back exactly what they just told you.
I like how people look at Starcraft 1 and Starcraft 2 and see 10 years and think that is how it has to be for D2 to D3. Personally I find that histarical. Then you got this "It has to be this date because two other games in a huge group of games were released on the same date" thing going on.
I love this forum... Better then Comedy Central...
-With worldstone gone, demons raid not only heaven but also mortal realm.
-Mighty warriors charge from heaven to fight the demons.
-Tyrael survived the destruction of the worldstone but the blast damaged him rly bad and now his powers are limited.
-He can no longer travel to mortal realm.
-Cain has been gifted with the eternal life for helping you save the world.
-With the prime evils gone, Belial sends Azamond to mortal realm to conquer the world.
-Your task is to stop Azamond.
-But, Diablo has other plans.
-Diablo was banished back to hell and there he waits for Azamond to destroy a sacred orb called The orb of balance that holds the gates of hell shut(in case that worldstone fails)
-U follow Azamond and fight the demon bosses he sends against u
-U get to Azamond who hides in the corrupted main temple of the Zakaurm and there u fight him.
-Azamond dies, but right before that, he destroys the Orb.
-Hell is awaken once again.
-Diablo and his brothers are free to walk the earth.
-Still weak, Diablo, Mephisto and Baal are looking for 3 something-something items that will give them power to overpower Belial.
-U hunt and kill each of them.
-The prime evils are no more, since they were destroyed in hell
-Belial uses his power to teleport himself and his army to heaven.
-He is looking for God's sword that will give him power over both heaven and hell
-He reaches the sword and there u fight him.
-Belial uses the sword.
-U defeat him.
-Belial opens a teleport(like TP) and tries to flee, but then Tyrael appears and uses the corrupted God's sword(it has been corrupted) and trows it into the TP.
-With it's power, the sword restors balance and hell is gone, but it also pulls Belial and Tyrael trough TP
-Tyrael fights Belial and kills him, but he can't leave hell.
-The world is safe for all eternity.
Looks like you put effort in it, but it's cliche.
