so which one is horazons brother? d1 or act 5, coz horazons brother is Bartuc the bloody aka the warlord of blood. i leaning towards there being two monsters with the title warlord of blood in either case.

Besides that they they both are called Bartuc, there is no indication what so ever that “Bartuc the Bloody” is the same as “Bartuc the warlord of blood”
Even when simply referring to Bartuc in the first book as Bloody, it is never without the title of Warlord.
The Bartuc we have in act five is of the high council.
The Bartuc we have in the first Diablo is suppose to be the Warlord of Blood but just like in the first book, it is possible that it is hes spirit that lays inside the steel tomb that had materialized into flesh, bone and armor.

This jealousy of Man led to harsh, atrocious acts of violence by the demons against the mortal realm. Some men learned of this deep hatred and used it against the denizens of the Underworld. One such mortal, Horazon the Summoner, delighted in summoning demons and then breaking them to his will. Horazon, along with his brother Bartuc, were members of the Eastern mage clan known as the Vizjerei. This mystic clan studied the ways of demons and had catalogued their lore for generations. Empowered by this knowledge, Horazon was able to take the work of the Vizjerei and pervert it for his demented purposes. The denizens of Hell sought revenge against this bold mortal, but Horazon managed to keep himself well protected within his arcane sanctuary. Bartuc, the brother of Horazon, was eventually lured to the side of Darkness. He was granted exceptional strength and longevity, and fought alongside the legions of Hell against the cursed Vizjerei, and eventually his own brother during the Sin War. Although Bartuc was renowned amongst the warriors of many realms, his dominance in battle came with a terrible price. An insatiable lust for mortal blood pervaded his every thought and deed. Bartuc soon became as fond of bathing in the blood of his enemies as he did of shedding it, and in time he came to be known only as the Warlord of Blood.
well that definitely says that Horazons brother Bartuc is the warlord of Blood, but yep it doesnt call him ' the bloody' i guess you kill Horazons brother in d1 and there is another demon ith the name Bartuc in act 5.

“I am a Vizjerei,” Sarnakyle stated. “One of the ‘Spirit Clan.’ I have summoned demons, and I have also fought them. I’ve seen these tactics used before by Bartuc, the Warlord of Blood.”
“Could Bartuc be behind this?” Siggard asked.
“I sincerely hope not,” Sarnakyle said. “I helped to kill him.”
In the first book, Bartucs armor, fueled partly by the intense last emotions of its bearer and partly by his soul, came to life.
This was not Bartuc however as his skeletal remains still lay where the armor and them had been placed.
In the first Diablo, the Bartuc you encounter is probably also not the real Bartuc but a materialization of him created by his memories that are locked inside the Steel Tome.

Maybe you really slain bartuc in act III. When you faced him again in the throne of destruction, he was a manifestation or a copy that baal has made for you to die from. The monsters in baal's run do come out of no where.

if you (or anyone for that matter) where to make this storyline into a game what kind of characters would be playable? there where no REAL races other than gods and demi-gods so what would you have the person playing as? just a question, not an insult because i think its a great idea for a storyline

What do you mean by this, I just need a clarification on what you are trying to say.
