The false overlook story is written by IllBetheJudgeofthings(All rights reserved. TeHe)Part One After the worldstone chamber was completely decimated, the hero’s that took the hand’s of burden off of the mortal realm from “The Three” became known from one side of the world to the other. Each hero went back to their people and were welcomed to joy and relief. For many day’s and many night’s the land was safe, and the world seemed to be at peace. Until out of the gloomy darkness their came a dark presence that seemed to flow with evil. Town after town became engulfed in destruction, hatred, and terror. Many kingdoms began to feel hatred for one another, every one thinking that every other was stirring up this trouble. So war begun, and kingdom after kingdom fell, and the oncoming darkness swallowed all in it’s path. So here our story begins passed down from one generation to the next, in a small city named Uray located to the eastern lands of Kurast. Our city had grown in wealth since the ending of the hellish war that had taken place by our kingdom, but others sought to use our wealth so we in turn were still using it for war and trouble, unfortunately that all changed one day when a strange cloaked man came, he kept to himself and paid a hefty amount for a more private room in the local inn. In the days that followed, a strange darkness hovered above us, and weird things started to happen, people were showing up dead, with no clear sign of death. The Inn keepers daughter was found died on the floor of the hall, and the rest of the Inn’s staff and visitors were also found died. The Strange cloaked man was the only one left so many began to be suspicious of what he was doing there, but no one dared talk to him. Day after day our poor city endured this darkness, but one day the man walked out of the Inn and out to the forest, the next thing I did was something so this day I will forever regret, I followed him. My foolish mistake lead me through dangerous places, countless rough nights, and harsh landscapes. I had counted the days of my journey, twenty-eight. When would it end, even before I could give a sigh the earth started to rumble, and to my horror came something so vile I had never seen the likes, A massive demonic spider. It had three head’s and on each lay two disfigured eyes glowing with evil, and a mouth that bore thousands of teeth. The cloaked man spoke in three different tones, each pierced my ears like needles, chanting a spell of some kind, I assumed of ancient lore. But just as quickly as it had begun it was over, out of shock I gave a yelp then the man was upon me in the blink of an eye…(Justification was use.)
Part Two A deep voice came from the stranger, talking as if he was asking others what to do. Then two more voices joined in, then finally I realized a conclusion had been made I grimaced in fear, as the man smiled and put his hand to my face. One of the voices uttered a spell and to my horror I could no longer control my body. No matter how many times I told my body to move, or go, it stayed still. Now the man was laughing and once more needles seemed to pierce my ears. With an abrupt stop of laughter he moved on, to shock me even more my body got up and followed. I hadn’t eaten in days, all I had done was try and resist whatever was doing this to my body! Now all I wanted to do was cry, I felt alone. The air was thick around us almost as if it was poisoned by the man’s desire, and the weather only got worse. With every storm only came another storm with two times the velocity. Soon we drew near to a once great cathedral, that had been destroyed by Mephisto, and was said to be guarded by one of his finest demons, because it had held knowledge that only the three needed to know. Fortunately now it was just another abandoned place to glance at for visitor’s, or at least so I thought. As we drew close to the cathedral you could clearly see candle light in the window’s. When The man and my body got to the door, it slid back as if we were expected, I could only imagine as to what horror’s faced me…
Part Three Then, nothing could have prepared me for what I saw next. Hundred’s upon hundred’s of bodies littered against the wall, on the floor, and even starting too pile out back. The man slowly walked through room after room as if he were looking for something, until he stopped, picked up an old book out of a pile that were covered in dust. I wished I could have cried out what are you doing here, who did all of this, but no all I could do was watch. Then all three voices reemerged, and together they spoke a spell, which to my knowledge was only used by dark entities, my eyes grew wide, sweat poured from my forehead. Soon dark magic surrounded the cathedral and even I could tell that evil was putting it’s grip onto our world. Then it stopped, the stranger yelled out one last word, and it was silent. Or at least it would have been until I noticed that each and every body was moving, every dead person were moving! They climbed out of their graves, through the cathedral to the road, and once more I heard the man’s sickening laugh’s. Once more the three voices came out, and deep laughter echoed throughout the enormous cathedral. “You have witnessed our true return mortal, your world is doomed,” the man screamed in all three of the voices. “Now you will lead us to the city of Kurast, or burn in hell for all of eternity,” the man shouted! Then I felt as if I could move again, so moved my fingers a little and thought. Did I even have a choice? So I simply started to walk towards Kurast, and the man followed. I was now sure that the man following me was no man, but a demon of some kind, a demon that was much higher in the ranks of hell then any ordinary one! Hour’s after we set off for Kurast I couldn’t resist snatching fruit from a tree and tasting it’s sweet flavor. The stranger watched as if he had no content with eating anything, in fact I hadn’t seen him eat at all. I decided it would be best if we kept moving, in fear that the stranger might find me useless. Days later we finally arrived at Kurast, and I worked up the courage to ask him what he was doing. Of course their came no response, but I did see a flicker of anger in his eye’s so I shut my mouth, and stayed quiet. He walked across the enormous city without end, never stopping, never resting, always going, so it was extremely hard to stay with him, but somewhere in my heart I knew I had too. Soon we arrived at a boat dock, where he pulled out a big bag full of gold and handed it to the clerk and pointed at the largest boat they had. The clerk instantly handed the boat over to us, and gave us a bag of food, and some canned water. Getting on the boat brought back fears I had since I was a child, after my father had been scooped out of a boat by a monstrous sea demon. So of course I was never at ease, I constantly surveyed the sea for any sign of life, but no it was barren and empty from my point of view at least. For many long night’s I went without sleep afraid that if I did, I wouldn’t wake up, so I went on alone, and afraid. To my surprise many days later, we wee docking, by a small village. We got out of the boat, and went through the village, the man bought some food and water and through the bags they where in towards me. Then he started walking towards a mountain trail that I could see in the distance…
Part Four We traveled through many valley’s and over many mountain’s, I was not sure what we were looking for, and I wondered, why I was even following him, but I didn’t dare leave knowing of the dark presence that was in front of me. The sky grew darker and darker as we went inland, the storm’s had stopped, but I began to notice small village’s towards the horizon that were burning, or faint screams echoed from them. The man stopped at the top of a peak, I quickly got to him and gasped in awe. I could clearly see, a massive building in the distance, and one of the three voices shouted, “we are here brother’s, our time as come!” It was only then did I realize what I had been following, thing’s I had heard stories about as a child, demon’s that could only be known as “The Three,” and where I had taken them, Mephisto’s temple. I reeled in terror, the man turned, laughed and began his decent towards the temple, I wished I could have turned, but once more I lost control of my body, and I began to follow. We climbed through the temple’s dark labyrinth’s, where the dead roamed, and small demon’s flew. I couldn’t even begin to imagine, what “The Three” would do with me; would they kill me now, or would they take my body for their own purposes. The alone feeling, started flooding back into my mind, and I couldn’t do anything about it. At last we arrived in a large room filled with what seemed lakes of blood and destroyed alters, covered in bones. The man that held “The Three” inside himself turned, spoke a spell, and before my very eyes a portal of which the likes I had ever seen before appeared, it‘s blinding light, and red destruction, burnt my skin; screams, and bones echoed from its haunting region, as if the other side was hell. With infernal speed the man walked through the gate, and then I knew their was no way out, my body followed with the same infernal pace…
Part Five I couldn’t even tremble, I was beyond scared, If I could control my body I’d do anything to get back to the mortal realm, but no I was stuck, possibly forever trapped in my own body. Hell pulsed with fire, and burned with hatred. I soon felt disgust seeing all sorts of sickly and abominable sights. Whatever that was left of the stranger was gone, “The Three” had destroyed his soul from the inside out. The three demon’s carefully maneuvered their body past many difficult obstacles. At last the man stopped, I gaped up at a large demonic palace. I couldn’t believe it, I wished I could cry, the sight was so depressing it could have burned one’s heart. Angelic soul’s chained to the palace, all crying out for freedom, and then came a great voice from inside the castle. “Who dare’s intrude upon my land?” the mighty voice shouted. “The Three” yelled out their names, and the great voice soon became silent, the door’s opened wide and we were taken inside. The demon I saw then was one of the most terrible ever to be known in hell, The Lord of Sin himself, Azmadon. Azmadon and “The Three” were arguing from what I could make of it until finally it stopped when One of “The Threes” voices uttered a spell that for a split second seemed to show chains around Azmadon, and Azmadon quickly led us through his palace to yet another gate. ‘The Three” gave a sickening laugh and entered the portal, my body quickly followed. I assumed the portal had led us to a deeper part of hell, and for hour’s I decided it wouldn’t hurt to try and talk, so I kept saying talk, talk, until I actually did whisper talk. The man turned, I stayed quiet, and he quickly went back to walking as normal. For days more we walked through a labyrinth of fire, death, and decay. At last I could resist no longer, I tried and I tried not to say anything, but my curiosity got the best of me. “WHY ARE YOU TAKING ME WITH YOU?” I screamed. The demon’s turned smiled an evil grin, then spoke a spell which took my privilege to talk away once more. “All will be revealed in dew time so don’t even think of leaving,” a voice growled from the man. Then I knew that they were planning to use me for something important, but what?…
