How fortunate for you, I hate that place. Can't speak for the rest of the country (because I'm sure there some nice ones somewhere) but in Las Vegas and most of California it seems like the bottom of civilizations gene pool shops their, often some real lost balls in that place. I had to go to one about a month ago and some idiot who thought he was super ninja kick boxer was practicing round house kicks on bags of potato chips in the grocery section.
I have CE, and of course Skellies maxed. I have some points in for Bone Armour.
I have only 1 in revive but +3 in items. 4 Revives seems, to me, more than enough. They are very stupid and have bad pathfinding. Plus they don't inflict that much damage (same as my skellies - but they move fast and good shields until my merc is coming in).
Also Attract seems to be just a waste; monsters have too much life and just too little damage. I just use Amp all the time.
Where is the best to spend these extra points?
The only thing i can see is to put more into BA synergies or Golem Mastery? or maybe put them into Bone Spirit against those annoying physical immuns?
Yeah attract is so so, a number of the other curses are pretty good when you have an army of skellies. Summon resist is pretty good too.
It doesn't miss the target but against Diablo or Baal, you might as well bring a sack lunch because it will take a long time to kill them with it. Poison Nova is a great one for them, you don't have to aim, just dodge their stuff and spray them with poison. If you dump a lot into the skeli's and mage skeli's you can overwhelm Baal to the point where he can't respond with a counter attack. That is pretty cool. It doesn't work on Diablo though, his fire just takes everything out. So you have to have dexterity, stamina, fire protection, and do the fire dance with him while you pick away at him.
There's no monster with such Physical Immunity that Amp Damage can't break it, save for perhaps a Unique with Stoneskin I suppose.
Monster in Hell have Hp in the range of the thousands. Hell Monsters typically around 5k, but certain mosnter, such as Siege Beasts, go up around 15k.
I haven't played a Summonancer on that high lvl (yet), and certainly not on hardcore, so I don't know if it's worth bothering with. Instinctively I'd put points into Clay Golem and Mastery, but I don't know.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.

I don't think i'll have problems with the prime evils. In normal and nightmare i just cast Clay Golem near him and smack him with Decrepify. It takes a while to kill them though.
And I wasn't looking to use Bone Spirit against prime evils. Just against some thought bastards.

Well so far, i've met at least 5-6 of these uniques that my Merc could not just take them on. The only thing i could do is try to lure them near corpses and then CE them, but most of the time it only nearly killed them and then they just regenerated.
Putting points in Golems will just make them tougher, but I want is something to kill monsters faster. The only one that inflicts any serious damage is my Merc.
I was thinking droping the remaining points into skeleton mages but i think their damage will just be too low. My regular skeletons barely kill anyone on Hell.

Ah, I see. Well I wouldn't listen to me, but Bone Sprit sounds reasonable.
Wait, were you playing Sinlgpelayer or Multiplayer?

Normally Summoners basically need +skills and auras. However you wish to bend this thing, you can't escape from the fact that if you want to be killing things fast, you'll need both of those.

Personally I woundn't do that, but some people would.

Needless to say I didn't purchase any chips.

Eventually i went with Mages. I figured Bone damage is quite low if not synergized. Plus, more dudes it looks massively cool
