Rathmian. But, as I've already had a conversation with Necronergal about, I would attempt to combine the knowledge of the Priests of Rathma with the spirituality of the Druids. I don't normally go for combinations, I actually really hate them, but I just cannot choose between the two. Plus, since Trag'oul pretty much is the personification of Sanctuary, and since Druids form a special connection with the life of Sanctuary, it kind of seems that the Druids are actually forming a connection with Trag'oul without realising it. So, as you can see, in this way their knowledge seems compatable. (Unlike Amazons and Necros, who believe in different Gods/Deitys/Weird Dragon Things altogether). But then again, the rules clearly state that Necros aren't allowed to share their info with anyone else, and that they must be fully pledged to Trag'oul. But I would argue that its still pledging fully to Trag'oul, if not even more so than normal necromancers, because I would be understanding both sides to Trag'oul and Sanctuary, allowing me to protect the balance even more than only learning one side of Trag'oul. Well, I would definitely take it up with the elders, and look for some sort of sign that I should follow my instinct on it or not.
2.thanks for whoever added the other classes. didnt think about putting the mercs in at all.
That was me, I did leave out the Hellfire Barbarian and Bard as they are not really offical classes, you had to perform a hack just to enable them.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
That is assuming that you are capable of finding/buying a Enigma. I imagine that, if we were in game, things would be much more expensive, considering if you die, your gone, just like in the real world. (Like Hardcore mode, I guess you could say..)
Yeah you're right, im thinking from the games perspective.
But would those things, such as enigma be neccessary, depending on what "difficulty" the monters were in real life, would each acts town gear suffice to live?
Either way though, paladins are still very rounded characters.
True, true. I was simply pointing out that fact because you lumped teleport with Paladins, and only Sorceresses have teleport, unless you get a charge ring or an Enigma.
Then again who's to say that the world would be cut up into "acts"? For all we know, Diablo could go back to Tristram (ala uber Diablo (the Diablo that you get when you sell 250 soj's) )... Interesting quandrum, isn't it?...
Indeed. Plus killing things irl isn't going to make you stronger, exercising and eating right and sparring with your peers and studying and all that is. So really going all accross the world to kill things like in the game isn't going to help so much, plus you can have Warriv ship in some good armour if need be, though it wont be any CoH or Enigmas. Lol...
Then you get into the stronger armour vs better mobility argument...

Bottom Line: Real-life Diablo would suck. Blood and sweat everywhere, the terror of possibly dying any second of your life, no pay, stupid swords getting blunt in the middle of nowhere, mosquitos...
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
So are you saying you wouldnt be able to forge enigmas and cohs, or that it
would probably just be really hard to find the runes and forge them?

Really hard to find. I mean seriously, have you EVER seen even a Ohm rune in Singleplayer? (I've gotten a Vex once, that's why I picked Ohm for your information :D)

Plus the Hellfire bard and barbarian use the same skin as the warrior, from what I've heard.
Bard uses the Rogue Skin.
You did forget the A5 barb, which could arguably be seperate from the playable barbaian character.
I thought about mentioning the merc Barb, but it uses the same skills. It's a different situation from the D1 Rogue/D2 Rogue, which have totally different skills.

And not just mosquitoes, but giant ones! and all though little Fetish dolls. Damn they are annoying enough in game, and to face hundreds of the little bastards jumping out of trees and ambushing/killing me. And as game mechanics don't apply, that's it i'm a goner. Personally, instead of Diablo being in the real world, I'd go with the reverse, put us in that world., but maybe Softcore, as much fun as having my deeds of valor remembered is, I think I might like to be ressurected if some jackass Pk'ed me.

I think it might be the tiniest bit easier, not by much though. After all, if its real life you could see if Warriv has bought any runes (apparently he's a merchant, so yea?) which should ever so slightly help. Still, if your looking for things as rare as ber or jah, your fucked.

My bad, I never played Hellfire. >.<

True. Though he only is capable of using swords and no shields... >.< Maybe he hasn't the same training as the hero barbarian?

It WOULD be nice to play in softcore, be a hell of alot easier. But I was thinking more of hardcore, considering its real life. And hardcore seems more realistic.

Well, that would depend. Seeing as it's pretty hard to bea the Three, I don't envision all too many people being able to get up to the skill it takes to survive the most vile of Hell. Meaning it'd still be pretty hard to get those runes.

Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.

And all paladins auras are sweet.
