I think I'm gonna beat it agan tomorrow... Oh wait, I'm busy... Same Friday... And Saturday/Sunday... Damnit, I need to beat it!
haha. yeah if you're busy just beat one set of dungeons at a time. it takes like 30-45 minutes every four levels, so you can beat it within a couple of days just playing for like an hour a day. that's what i do...sometimes. other times i just play through till i beat it,

i didnt have to buy potions as much with rogue because everything dies before it reaches you.. so i did it with rogue faster
edit- also easier to kill those witch things in hell because you can attack from a distance , with warrior they constantly "run" away.. and you "run" after then at an amazing pace i may add...

i agree rogue is best character in game, but i've always found that the she's hard to play at first when your dex is low and everything gets to you before you can even hit it...but she turns out to be amazing and versatile if you stack her right.
As for warrior in hell- i always make my warriors like warrior-mage hybrids, so i just bust them bitches up with like a level 4-5 chain lightning or fireball. also stacking a bunch of firewalls right where they're about to run works really well too so long as they don't have immunities to fire.

i heard sorcerers are the hardest, i imagine it would be annoying if you couldnt find any awesome spell books
also.. on single player its just 1 difficulty, when you kill diablo it quits the game and if you re-load your character then you go back to when it was last saved (which is usually just before you take on diablo)
on battle.net is there more than 1 difficulty? because getting to level 50 with 1 difficulty would be annoying (and impossible in single player because creatures dont respawn)
edit-diablo 1 is quite short, just 16 levels.. thats like act1+2 maybe in diablo2 lod... what about high level skills, you just dont get to use them in single player?
it seems to me that in single player (for warriors/rogues.. i dont know about sorcerers) that the stats are leinent so even if you mess them up a little bit you can still manage to kill diablo
p.s-
Blood raven is the rogue from diablo1?
Horazons impersonator is the sorceror from diablo1?
is that true? or is it just the warrior who carries on
Charsi says blood raven fought the evil under tristram, the only rogue known to have done this is the one from d1.
someone in act 2 says something aboutthe summoner that leads you to believe it is the sorc from d1. i forget who it is and what they say, its been awhile
also d1 is 20 lvls, 1 - 16 + 4 bonus stages. posioned water supply, king leorics tomb, chamber of bone, arch bishop's lair.
21 if you count tristram as a stage, lol

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
Intentionally, obviously. Anyway, you can make the warrior exactly the same as a rogue... Just give him a bow. Or give the rogue a sword and play like a warrior... I find it doesn't matter which class you are...

It's actually pretty interesting they inferred any further roles for the Rogue and Sorcerer class for Diablo II. It makes you wonder if in Diablo 3 you'll be fighting some bosses that were of the seven classes from D2 gone awry.
id expect there to be maybe 1 or 2, definitely not all 7. prehaps a barb, necro, sorc or a paly.

Well, if I were to make a bet, I would say not the Necromancer, due to their superior record of non-corruption. I'm going to assume the Barbarian returned safely to his homeland and helped rebuild Sescheron. The Paladin managed to escape corruption and went back to Kurast to rebuild the Zakarum church. The Sorceress turned evil cause she never really had any convictions besides fire, cold, and lightning. Seriously.
I reckon the Amazon also just went home and trained other Amazons. The Druid died of heartache cause of all the trees Baal destroyed and was reincarnated as a Thrasher. The Assassin killed Nihlathak then got called on a mission other than Baal. She's currently on assignment.
Long live Diablo
